Hlaðajarla saga

Hlaðajarla saga, var forn íslensk saga (tilgátusaga), sem fjallaði um sögu Hlaðajarla, sem höfðu aðsetur á Hlöðum hjá Niðarósi. Sagan er glötuð, og er því óvíst hversu umfangsmikið rit þetta var.

Í Grettis sögu og Fagurskinnu er vísað til sögu Eiríks Hákonarsonar Hlaðajarls (d. um eða eftir 1023), og telja margir fræðimenn, m.a. Finnur Jónsson, að sagan hafi ekki eingöngu fjallað um Eirík jarl, heldur einnig fyrirrennara hans, a.m.k. aftur til Hákonar Grjótgarðssonar. Einnig sé hugsanlegt að upphaf sögunnar hafi náð enn lengra aftur, með stuðningi af Háleygjatali Eyvindar skáldaspillis og fornum munnmælasögum.

Saga Eiríks jarls Hákonarsonar (eða saga fleiri Hlaðajarla), var notuð sem heimild í konungasögum, Grettis sögu og e.t.v. fleiri ritum.
