Suku Ngalik (disebut juga sebagai Silimo[2]) adalah kelompok etnis yang mendiami Kabupaten Yahukimo, Provinsi Papua Pegunungan. Suku Ngalik membentuk kampung-kampung kecil yang tersebar di daerah pegunungan tengah, di sekitar lembah Baliem. Kampung-kampung suku Ngalik dapat ditemukan di Distrik Silimo, Distrik Amuma, Distrik Musaik, Distrik Usamo, Distrik Suru-Suru, dan Distrik Obio.[3] Mereka berbahasa Silimo (disebut juga Paiyage, Usak, Wulik, Nalik Selatan) yang merupakan anggota Rumpun bahasa Ngalik, cabang dalam Rumpun bahasa Lembah Baliem (Dani), yang berhubungan dekat dengan bahasa-bahasa Yali (Ngalik Utara) dan bahasa Nduga.
