PT Samudera Sarana Logistik adalah anak usaha dari Samudera Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang logistik.[2]

Sejarah

Perusahaan ini memulai sejarahnya sebagai Divisi Depo Peti Kemas dari PT Masaji Prayasa Cargo yang mengelola sebuah depo peti kemas di Kalibaru, Jakarta Utara. Pada bulan Desember 1991, divisi tersebut dijadikan modal untuk mendirikan perusahaan ini dengan nama PT Masaji Tatanan Container. Pada tahun 1992, perusahaan ini membuka depo peti kemas di Surabaya.

Pada tahun 1995, perusahaan ini juga membuka depo peti kemas di Medan. Pada tahun 1997, perusahaan ini membuka depo peti kemas di Semarang. Dua tahun kemudian, perusahaan ini juga membuka depo peti kemas di Lampung. Pada tahun 2008, perusahaan ini membuka depo peti kemas di Makassar. Tiga tahun kemudian, perusahaan ini juga membuka depo peti kemas di Palembang.

Pada tahun 2017, Samudera Indonesia menunjuk perusahaan ini sebagai subholding yang bergerak di bidang logistik dan mengubah nama perusahaan ini menjadi seperti sekarang. Perusahaan ini kemudian mengakuisisi mayoritas saham PT Masaji Kargosentra Tama yang bergerak di bidang pergudangan. Perusahaan ini lalu juga mendirikan PT Samudera JWD Logistics bersama JWD InfoLogistics untuk berbisnis di bidang logistik rantai dingin.

Pada tahun 2018, perusahaan ini membuka depo peti kemas di Jambi.[2] PT Samudera JWD Logistics juga mengakuisisi 67% saham PT Adib Cold Logistics. Pada bulan November 2022, perusahaan ini resmi memegang 20% saham PT Mostrans Global Digilog, anak usaha dari Enseval Putera Megatrading.[3]
