Point Roberts adalah sebuah eksklav milik Amerika Serikat yang terletak di ujung selatan Semenanjung Tsawwassen di sebelah selatan kota Vancouver di Provinsi British Columbia, Kanada. Wilayah ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sebesar 1.314 jiwa menurut hasil sensus tahun 2010. Point Roberts dapat dijangkau dari Amerika Serikat dengan menempuh jarak sekitar 40 km di wilayah Kanada.

Point Roberts merupakan konsekuensi dari sengketa perbatasan Oregon antara Britania Raya dengan Amerika Serikat pada pertengahan abad ke-19. Kedua belah pihak sepakat bahwa garis paralel ke-49 akan menjadi batas kedua negara. Mereka sudah mengecualikan Pulau Vancouver dan Kepulauan Teluk agar pulau-pulau tersebut tidak terpotong oleh garis ini dan membentuk wilayah-wilayah eksklave, tetapi mereka tidak bahwa menyadari ada wilayah kecil di bawah garis ini yang terlupakan. Walaupun terdapat pembahasan mengenai penyerahan wilayah ini kepada Britania Raya dan kemudian Kanada, status Point Roberts hingga kini masih tetap sama, yaitu sebagai wilayah Amerika Serikat.

Pendidikan

Satu-satunya sekolah yang ada di Point Roberts hanya menawarkan pendidikan TK, kelas satu, dua, dan tiga.[2] Akibatnya, siswa yang naik kelas empat harus melewati wilayah Kanada selama 40 menit untuk masuk sekolah di Blaine, Washington.
