Pekan Arba merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang ada di kecamatan Tembilahan, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, provinsi Riau, Indonesia.

Letak dan Geografis

Kelurahan Pekan Arba merupakan sebuah kelurahan yang terdapat di Kecamatan Tembilahan, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau dengan Luas Wilayah Kelurahan menurut kecamatan yaitu ± 19,11 Ha. Rata-rata hari hujan dan curah hujan di Kelurahan Pekan Arba adalah 111 hari dengan 1.080 mm curah hujan.

Demografi

Pada tahun 2020, kelurahan ini dihuni oleh 11.189 jiwa yang terbagi dari 5.701 jiwa laki-laki dan 5.488 jiwa perempuan dengan 3.176 kepala keluarga. Mata pencaharian penduduk umumnya yaitu di bidang pertanian pangan, perkebuan, perdagangan, buruh lepas/buruh harian serta pedagang kecil (UMKM). Kelurahan Pekan Arba terdiri dari 6 RW dan sekitar 37 RT.

Penduduk Kelurahan Pekan Arba merupakan penduduk yang memiliki beragam suku dan agama, mulai dari suku Banjar, Melayu, Jawa, dan berbagai suku lainnya. Namun mayoritas masyarakat Kelurahan Pekan Arba menggunakan bahasa Banjar dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Pada dasaranya Kelurahan Pekan Arba, Kecamatan Tembilahan, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, merupakan kelurahan yang tidak jauh dari pusat kota yang pada umumnya sudah banyak memiliki kendaraan pribadi sebagai alat transportasi, mayoritas masyarakat Kelurahan Pekan Arba menggunkan kendaraan roda dua, kendaraan roda tiga seperti halnya becak, dan tak jarang pula masyarakat Kelurahan Pekan Arba sudah banyak menggunakan kendaraan roda empat.
