Kerajaan Sinala

Kerajaan Sinala (Sinhala) terletak di pulau Lanka (Alengka), yang pada masa sekarang disebut Sri Lanka, dan muncul dalam kisah Mahābhārata. Ada pendapat bahwa mungkin mereka merupakan koloni dari Kerajaan Wanga. Kemudian menyebar sampai ke Kerala di benua India. Ada pendapat lain yang menghubungkannya dengan Kerajaan Kamboja yang memiliki kota bernama Sinha-pura (dalam bahasa Sanskerta berarti “Kota Singa”) di wilayah Bahlika, India barat laut.
