Duck and Cover adalah sebuah film paduan sosial pertahanan sipil yang sering kali disalahartikan[1][2] sebagai propaganda.[3]

Produksi film dimulai pada 1951 dan film tersebut pertama kali ditayangkan pada Januari 1952 pada era setelah Uni Soviet memulai pengetesan nuklir pada 1949 dan Perang Korea (1950–53) berkecamuk.

Didanau oleh US Federal Civil Defense Administration, film tersebut ditulis oleh Raymond J. Mauer, disutradarai oleh Anthony Rizzo dari Archer Productions, dinarasikan oleh pemeran Robert Middleton dan dibuat dengan bantuan anak-anak sekolahan dari New York City dan Astoria, New York.
