Az Amerikai Egyesült Államok lakásügyi és városfejlesztési minisztere az Egyesült Államok Lakásügyi és Városfejlesztési Minisztériumának vezetője, tagja az elnök kabinetjének és tizenharmadik az utódlási sorrendben. A posztot 1965. szeptember 9-én hozta létre Lyndon B. Johnson elnök,[1] azzal a céllal, hogy „támogassák közösségek felépítését és diszkriminációmentes hozzáférést adjanak lakhatáshoz.”[2]
