אפל פודקאסטים (או פודקאסטים במערכות ההפעלה של אפל; באנגלית: Apple Podcasts או Podcasts) הוא שירות הזרמת אודיו ונגן מדיה שפותח על ידי אפל להזרמת פודקאסטים.

היסטוריה

אפל החלה לתמוך בהזרמת פודקאסטים ב־2005 דרך אייטונס 4.9, וב־2012 השיקה את היישומון הנפרד "פודקאסטים". מ־2014, היישומון הגיע עם מערכת ההפעלה IOS. אפל פודקאסטים זמינה במערכות ההפעלה:ios, IPadOS, MacOS, WatchOS, TvOS, CarPlay, Microsoft Windows, ברכבי טסלה ופורשה, ובמכשירי אמזון אלכסה.[1] ב־2021 השיקה אפל פיצ'ר המאפשר ליוצרים לשלב הרשמה בתשלום לערוצים שתעניק למנויים גישה לתוכן נוסף.[2]

נתח שוק

אפל פודקאסטים היא הפלטפורמה השנייה במבחן הפופולריות (לאחר ספוטיפיי) לשמיעת פודקאסטים בארצות הברית. נכון למאי 2024 היא מחזיקה ב־33.8% מהשוק העולמי. [3]

פרס אפל פודקאסטים

כ-3 שנים לאחר שהשיקה את פרס המוזיקה שלה, הכריזה אפל באוגוסט 2022 על פרסים בתחום הפודקאסטים.[4]
