פיליפ קרסנטי (בצרפתית: Philippe Karsenty; נולד ב-25 ביוני 1966) הוא איש עסקים, פוליטיקאי ואיש תקשורת יהודי-צרפתי. ידוע בעיקר בזכות טענתו כי הקלטת המתארת את מותו לכאורה של הילד הפלסטיני מוחמד א-דורה היא מזויפת, וניצחונו בבית המשפט בתביעות דיבה בעקבות טענה זו.

קורות חיים

קרסנטי נולד באיסי לה מולינו (Issy-les-Moulineaux) שברמות הסן, בן למשפחה יהודית שהיגרה לצרפת ממרוקו. בשנות ה-20 לחייו הקים חברה למסחר במניות בבורסה של פריז ועבד כברוקר עד 1997. ב-1996 הקים חברה לייעוץ עסקי.

בשנת 2000 רץ לפרלמנט הצרפתי כמועמד המזוהה עם הימין-מרכז, אך הפסיד לניקולא סרקוזי.[1] בשנת 2008 נבחר לסגן ראש העירייה של ניי-סיר-סן.[2] ב-2012 הוא מתכנן לרוץ שוב למועצה המחוקקת, בתור מועמד המייצג עמדות ימין, כנגד המועמד של מפלגת האיחוד למען תנועה עממית של סרקוזי, ב"מחוז" של אזרחים צרפתיים החיים מחוץ לצרפת.[3]

פרשת מוחמד א-דורה

קרסנטי פרץ לתודעה הציבורית ברחבי העולם ב-2004 כאשר נתבע על הוצאת דיבה בידי רשת הטלוויזיה הצרפתית France 2 אחרי שהאשים את הרשת בשידור קלטת מבוימת המראה לכאורה את מותו של ילד פלסטיני בן 12, מוחמד א-דורה, בזמן קרב יריות ליד צומת נצרים ברצועת עזה בשנת 2000.[1] קרסנטי הפסיד בתביעה באוקטובר 2006‏[4] אך ערער על פסק הדין. הערעור התקבל על ידי בית המשפט לערעורים של פריז במאי 2008 כאשר France 2 סירבה להציג את הסרט המלא מאותה תקרית.[5] רשת France 2 ערערה על הזיכוי בפני ה-Cour de cassation, הערכאה הגבוהה ביותר לערעורים משפטיים בצרפת.[6] קרסנטי זכה בתביעה גם כנגד ערוץ Canal+, ששידר תוכנית המגינה על שארל אנדרלן, הכתב שדיווח על מותו של א-דורה באותה תקרית. קרסנטי טען שהתוכנית מוציאה עליו דיבה בכך שהתעלמה מעובדות המקרה, ובפרט מפסיקת בית המשפט.[7] בעקבות שני ניצחונות אלה, הטענה כי קלטת א-דורה מבוימת או מזויפת זכתה לחיזוק רב. בעקבות זאת, ייסד קרסנטי את חברת Media Ratings העוסקת בביקורת התקשורת על הטיות פוליטיות. ב-2012 ביטל בית המשפט לערעורים את זיכויו של קרסנטי והחזיר את הדיון לבית המשפט לערעורים של פריז.[8] ב-26 ביוני 2013 הרשיע סופית בית המשפט לערעורים של פריז את קרסנטי בלשון הרע וגזר עליו קנס של 7,000 אירו.
