כנסיית העם הגואנצ'י

סמל האלה תנית, המשמש גם כדי לייצג את כנסיית העם הגואנצ'י.

כנסיית העם הגואנצ'י (Iglesia del Pueblo Guanche) היא ארגון דתי שנוסד בשנת 2001 בעיר סן קריסטובל דה לה לגונה (טנריפה, האיים הקנריים, ספרד), במטרה להציל ולהפיץ את הדת הפגאנית של הגואנצ'ים.[1] הכנסייה נוסדה על ידי קבוצה של חסידים קנריים של האלה האם הקדמונית Chaxiraxi.

הכנסייה ביצעה הטבלות וחתונות על פי המנהג הקדום. בשנת 2002 נערכו טקסי נישואים בהתאם לנוסח גואנצ'י, שהתקיימו כביכול בעבר באי טנריפה - בפועל, טקסים כאלה לא נצפו במשך כמה מאות שנים מאז ההשתלטות הספרדית על הארכיפלג.[1]

כנסיית העם הגואנצ'י דומה לתנועות נאו-פגאניות אחרות. בשנת 2008 מנתה הכנסייה כ-300 חברים.[2]
