יחסי אפגניסטן–טורקמניסטן הם היחסים הדיפלומטיים הרשמיים שבין האמירות האיסלאמית של אפגניסטן ובין טורקמניסטן.

היסטוריה

לאחר תבוסת הטליבאן ששלט באפגניסטן, החלו לנסוק הקשרים בין המדינות, כאשר החל משנת 2015 התהדקו היחסים, וכללו שורת ביקורים דיפלומטים, שיתופי פעולה כלכליים, ושיתוף שיטות מלחמה בפשע וטרור. דבר שתורם לשיתוף פעולה זה הוא הדמיון בבעיות איתן מתמודדות המדינות (המלחמה בטרור, רדיקליזם, סמים, עוני ומחסור במשרות עבודה)[1].

נשיאי שתי המדינות, גורבנגולי ברדימוחמדוב ואשרף גאני אחמדזאי, אף חתמו על מספר הסכמים לשיתוף פעולה כולל במספר רחב של נושאים (חיבור המדינות למרכז אסיה באמצעי תחבורה, גז, ייצור אנרגיה, שיתוף פעולה מדעי, קשרי תעופה ושמירה על הגבול המשותף)[2][3].

כלכלה

בין המדינות קיימים יחסים בילטרליים פוריים. בין היתר:

  • בשנת 2018, התנהל קשר בין המדינות בנוגע לצינור גז, המחבר ארבע מעצמות באזור (הודו, פקיסטן, אפגניסטן וטורקמניסטן)[4].
  • טורקמניסטן מסייעת רבות לאפגניסטן, בין היתר על ידי משלחות מזון וציוד רפואי[5][6].

  • טורקמניסטן מיוצגת באפגניסטן על ידי שגרירות שהיא מחזיקה בקאבול, בירת אפגניסטן[7].
  • אפגניסטן מיוצגת בטורקמניסטן על ידי שגרירות שהיא מחזיקה באשגבאט, בירת טורקמניסטן[8].
