המלחמה הרוסית-עות'מאנית 1686–1700 הייתה חלק מהמאמץ הכלל אירופי נגד האימפריה העות'מאנית, הידוע בתור המלחמה הטורקית הגדולה. זו הייתה המלחמה השלישית בהיסטוריה של מלחמות רוסיה-טורקיה.

המלחמה החלה לאחר שרוסיה הצארית הצטרפה לקואליציה האירופית האנטי-טורקית (ממלכת הבסבורג, האיחוד הפולני–ליטאי, וונציה) בשנת 1686, אחרי שפולין הסכימה להכיר בחוזה השלום הנצחי בשליטה הרוסית על קייב ועל אוקראינה של הגדה השמאלית.[1]

המלחמה

במהלך המלחמה, הצבא הרוסי לחם במערכת קרים בשנים 1687–1689 שהסתיימה בתבוסה רוסית.[2] למרות הכשלונות האלו, פתחה רוסיה במערכות אזוב בשנים 1695 ו-1696, ולאחר מצור ממושך[3] כבשה בהצלחה את מבצר אזוב בשנת 1696.[4]

הסכם השלום

לאור ההכנות למלחמה נגד האימפריה השוודית, חתם הצאר הרוסי פיוטר הגדול על הסכם קרלוביץ עם האימפריה העות'מאנית ב-1699.[5] לאחר מכן באמנת קונסטנטינופול ב-1700, ויתרו העות'מאנים על אזוב, מבצר טגנרוג, פאבלובסק ומיוס לרוסיה ואף החזירו את כל שבויי המלחמה.[6] הצאר גם אישר כי הקוזאקים הכפופים לו, לא יתקפו את העות'מאנים, ואילו הסולטן אישר כי הטטרים של קרים, לא יתקפו את הרוסים.
