אמה־לואיז קורין[1] (באנגלית: Emma-Louise Corrin; נולדה ב-13 בדצמבר 1995)[2] היא שחקנית קולנוע וטלוויזיה אנגליה אשר ידועה בעיקר בזכות תפקידה בתור דיאנה, נסיכת ויילס בסדרת הטלוויזיה "הכתר"; עבורו זכתה בפרס גלובוס הזהב לשחקנית הטובה ביותר בסדרת דרמה ובמועמדות לפרס אמי ולפרס גילדת שחקני המסך.

ביוגרפיה

קורין נולד בעיירה טנברידג' וולס, קנט באנגליה ב-13 בדצמבר 1995.[3] אביה, כריס קורין, הוא איש עסקים ואמו, ג'ולייט קורין, היא קלינאית תקשורת מדרום אפריקה. לקורין יש שני אחים צעירים, ריצ'רד וג'ונטי.[4]

היא למד בבית ספר הקתולי וולדינגהאם בסארי, פנימייה של בנות שם פיתחה את העניין שלה במשחק ומחול.[4][5] קורין לקח שנת חופש מלימודיה, במהלכה למד קורס באקדמיה למוזיקה ולאמנויות הדרמה של לונדון והתנדבה כמורה בבית ספר בקניסנה, דרום אפריקה. קורין החל ללמוד באוניברסיטת בריסטול, אך עזבה שם לטובת לימודים במכללת סנט ג'ון, חלק מאוניברסיטת קיימברידג',[3] שם למד חינוך, אנגלית, דרמה ואמנויות.

בספטמבר 2024, פורסם כי קורין לוהקה לעונה השביעית של הסדרה "מראה שחורה".[6] באוקטובר 2024, קורין לוהק להפקת "השחף" של צ'כוב בלונדון בשנת 2025. קורין תשחק את דמותה של נינה.[7]

חיים אישיים

ביולי 2021, קורין יצאה מהארון כקוויר והוסיפה את הכינוי המגדרי "they/them" לחשבון האינסטגרם שלה. מאוחר יותר הוא סיפרה על היותו ג'נדרקוויר בריאיון ל"ניו יורק טיימס".
