Ignacio Manuel Hortas Rodríguez,[1] nado en Cármenes, León en 1954 e finado en Catoira o 11 de outubro de 2019,[2] máis coñecido como Nacho Hortas, foi un debuxante galego.

Traxectoria

Fillo dun garda civil, naceu en Cármenes, na provincia de León, onde seu pai estaba destinado.[2][3] Mudouse a Galicia sendo moi novo por mor do traballo de seu pai, a familia trasladouse a Ourense e logo a Santiago de Compostela, para rematar en Vilagarcía de Arousa e finalmente en Catoira.[4] Casou e tivo dous fillos.[1][3][4] Traballou como funcionario para a consellería do Mar[1][2][3][4] e foi debuxante, ilustrando as páxinas de La Voz de Galicia coas súas viñetas humorísticas (e mais a edición comarcal de Arousa deste periódico baixo o título de «A Ghoma Rota») empregando como pseudónimo Nachortas,[1][3] así como noutros xornais, revistas e publicacións humorísticas.[1][2][4]

Formou parte da lista do Bloque Nacionalista Galego para as eleccións municipais de 1999 no concello de Catoira como suplente, unha lista que encabezou Xoán Xosé Castaño Conde.[2][5][6][7]

Faleceu en Catoira o 11 de outubro de 2019 a causa dunha enfermidade ós 64 anos de idade.[2]
