Alicia Fernández Fraga, nada o 21 de decembro de 1992 en Valdoviño, é unha xogadora de balonmán galega, que xoga no CS Rapid București de Romanía e na selección española.[1][2]

Traxectoria

Comezou a xogar ao balonmán aos 8 anos no CB Narón, e aos 15 marchou a Sagunto, onde ingresou no BM Sagunto. Con 17 anos debutou na División de Honra e en 2012 regresou a Galicia, fichando polo BM Porriño, onde militou dous anos.[3]

Despois de pasar polo Aula Cultural de Valladolid, recalou en 2015 no Bera Bera. Xogou dúas tempadas no equipo donostiarra, gañando unha liga, unha Copa da Raíña e unha Supercopa.

En 2017 deu un xiro á súa carreira, marchando a Romanía, onde fichou polo Râmnicu Vâlcea da cidade homónima.[4] Con este club xogou catro tempadas, gañando unha liga romanesa e sendo elixida en 2019 mellor estranxeira da liga.[5] En abril de 2021 fichou polo CS Rapid București da capital romanesa.[6]

Selección española

Foi internacional coa selección española dende as categorías inferiores e o 30 de maio de 2018 debutou coa selección absoluta, nun encontro fronte a Turquía.[7] Só unhas semanas despois conseguiu a medalla de ouro nos Xogos Mediterráneos, despois de derrotar a Montenegro nunha final na que foi a máxima goleadora do equipo, con 8 tantos.[8] A finais de ano disputou o Campionato de Europa en Francia, e ao ano seguinte o Campionato Mundial no Xapón, onde conseguiu a medalla de prata despois de perder na final contra os Países Baixos.[9]

En 2021 disputou os Xogos Olímpicos de Toquio,[10] onde o equipo español non puido pasar da fase de grupos, despois de obter dúas vitorias e tres derrotas.[11]
