Ultratop est une association qui gère et publie les hit-parades officiels en Belgique. La plupart de ces hit-parades en portent le nom.

Historique

Belgique et Luxembourg

Ultratop est créée en 1954 pour la Région flamande.

Elle est diffusée à la télévision au Luxembourg à partir de sur RTL Télévision et RTL TV jusqu'en .

Elle est diffusée en Belgique sur RTL-TVI, à partir de septembre 1987.

Vers la fin de l'année 1994 pour la Région wallonne à l'initiative de la fédération de l'industrie belge de la musique, la Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), l'organisation belge membre de la Fédération internationale de l'industrie phonographique (IFPI)[1][pas clair].

Elle est diffusée sur Club RTL, à partir de .

Elle est diffusée sur Plug TV à partir de .

En France

Elle est l'émission musicale à la télévision française sur La Cinq de 1987 à 1989.

Elle est diffusée sur M6 de 1989 à intitulée Multitop.

Ultratip

En plus du classement principal Ultratop 50, un autre classement hebdomadaire de singles était publié sous le nom d'Ultratip. Aussi appelé Ultratip Bubbling Under, il s'agit d'un classement indicateur des singles disponibles dans le commerce, avec des positions dans le classement basées sur une combinaison de ventes et de diffusion, c'est-à-dire le nombre de fois qu'une chanson est jouée à la radio ou à la télévision. Il s'agissait de morceaux n'ayant pas encore atteint l'ultratop.

Ultratip diffère des classements principaux de l'Ultratop, en ce qu'il dépend à la fois de la diffusion et des ventes, tandis que les classements Ultratop sont basées uniquement sur les ventes. Une chanson ne peut pas figurer dans l'Ultratop 50 basée uniquement sur les chiffres de sa diffusion.
