Schizophrys est un genre de crabes de la famille des Majidae.

Description

Dans sa publication de 1848, White définit ainsi ce genre[1] :

« Carapace ovale, déprimée, légèrement atténuée à l'arrière ; bec profondément fendu ; orbite supérieure profondément fendue, avec une forte dent au milieu ; orbite inférieure avec un appendice allongé à l'intérieur, terminé par deux dents. Queue du mâle à sept articulations, côtés presque parallèles. Pattes antérieures plus courtes. Pinces non dentelées. »
