En botanique, l'homosporie caractérise un organisme qui ne produit qu'un seul type de spores, le sexe (ou l'hermaphrodisme) du sporophyte sera donc déterminé ultérieurement. En opposition à l'hétérosporie qui produit des microspores (mâles) et des mégaspores (femelles).
