Fortnum & Mason on tavaratalo Lontoon Piccadillyllä City of Westminsterin kaupunkipiirissä. Se tunnetaan etenkin laadukkaasta ja monipuolisesta elintarvikevalikoimastaan.[1] Piccadillyn lisäksi yhtiöllä on nykyäänmilloin? toimipisteet myös Hongkongissa ja Lontoossa St Pancrasin rautatieasemalla, Royal Exchangessä ja Heathrow’n lentoaseman Terminaali 5:ssä.[2]

Fortnum & Mason aloitti toimintansa ruokatavarakauppana vuonna 1707 ja tuli tunnetuksi 1700-luvun lopulla eksoottisista elintarvikkeista, joita Itä-Intian kauppakomppania oli alkanut tuoda maahan. Se alkoi myydä 1800-luvun puolivälissä herkkukoreja, jotka ovat yhä sen suosituimpia myyntiartikkeleita varsinkin juna- ja lentomatkustajien keskuudessa. Tavaratalo laajensi valikoimaansa muotivaatteisiin ja muihin tuoteryhmiin 1920-luvulla, mutta elintarvikkeet ja etenkin eksoottiset herkut ovat yhä sen nimikkotuotteita.[1]

Yhtiön lippulaivaliike Piccadillyllä toimii yhä samassa osoitteessa kuin 1700-luvun alussa. Elintarvike- ja muiden osastojen lisäksi tavaratalossa on viinibaari, jäätelöbaari, teesalonki ja ravintola.[3] Sen kuuluisa julkisivukello otettiin käyttöön vuonna 1964. Kellon soidessa tasatunteja tavaratalon perustajien William Fortnumin ja Hugh Masonin patsaat liukuvat esiin ja kumartavat toisilleen.[1]
