Eino Santanen

Eino Santanen (s. 1975)[1] on suomalainen kirjailija. Hän toimi Nuoren Voiman Liiton puheenjohtajana vuosina 2008–2011.[2] Santanen oli Nuori Voima -lehden päätoimittaja vuosina 2003–2006.[1]

Santanen on julkaissut novellikokoelman ja viisi runokokoelmaa.[3] Hän on toimittanut Uusi ääni -runoantologian Saila Susiluodon kanssa ja Runouden vuosikirja 2006 – MotMotin Aki Salmelan kanssa. Lisäksi hänen runojaan on julkaistu Oscar Rossin ja Tiia Strandénin toimittamassa antologiassa Tämä ei ole fiktiota – 18 pohjoismaista nykyrunoilijaa (Teos, 2007).

Santasen taiteelliseen työhön kuuluu muitakin kuin kirjahankkeita, kuten konseptualistinen Setelirunous, digitaalisen kirjallisuuden ryhmä Laskennallisen kirjallisuuden ystävät ja yhteisteokset koreografi Valtteri Raekallion kanssa. Santanen on Kriittisen korkeakoulun Kirjoittajakoulun vastaava opettaja.[3] Hän on toiminut Helsingin Sanomien kirjallisuuspalkintoraadissa.[4]

Santasen toinen runokokoelma Merihevonen kääntää kylkeään palkittiin Kalevi Jäntin palkinnolla 2006.[5] Vuonna 2015 hän sai Tanssiva karhu -runopalkinnon teoksesta Tekniikan maailmat.[6] Myös Santasen teos Yleisö oli Tanssiva karhu -ehdokas 2018.[7] Taiteen edistämiskeskus myönsi kesäkuussa 2023 Santaselle viisivuotisen taiteilijaprofessoriapurahan vuoden 2024 alusta alkaen.[8]
