ویدرنه دوم (به پارسی باستان: 𐎻𐎡𐎭𐎼𐎴 Vidṛna) یا هیدرانس دوم (ارمنی: Հիդարնես Գ Երվանդունի) پادشاه ارمنستان از دودمان اروندی بود که در میانه سده ۵ (پیش از میلاد) حکومت می‌کرد. وی فرزند ویدرنه، یک فرمانده نظامی ارتش شاهنشاهی هخامنشی در سده پنجم پیش از میلاد و یکی از هفت نفری بود که علیه گئومات مغ شورش کرد، بود.

ویدرنه فرمانده سپاه جاویدان هخامنشیان و ساتراپ پارت و چند ساتراپی دیگر بود.

در دوران خشایارشا یکم، ویدرنه یکی از فرماندهان دومین تهاجم ایرانیان به یونان بود[۱] [۲] که در سال ۴۸۰ پیش از میلاد، به فرماندهی گارد جاویدان انتخاب شد. در زمان او بود که گارد جاویدان، ده هزار نفر شد. در حالی که برادرش سیسامنس فرماندهی نیروهای هریوا را بر عهده داشت.[۳]

در اولین روز نبرد ترموپیل، ویدرنه هدایت گارد جاویدان را در برابر فالانژ اسپارتی‌ها که تحت فرمان لئونیداس بودند را بر عهده گرفت، اما تلاش برای در هم شکستن مقاومت اسپارت‌ها شکست خورد.[۴]در روز دوم ، یکی از ساکنان محلی به نام افیالتس با نشان دادن یک راه مخفی در اطراف ترموپیل که مورد استفاده احشام بود، به یونانیان خیانت کرد. این امر باعث شد ویدرنه و گارد جاویدانش از پشت اسپارت‌ها و نیروهای تسپانی و تبای عبور کنند و در نتیجه، آنها را شکست دهند.[۵]

پس از شکست پارسیان در نبرد سالامیس، خشایارشا تصمیم گرفت که به آسیا برگردد و یونان را به قصد سارد ترک کرد و ارتش بزرگی را تحت فرماندهی مردونیه در تسالی به جای گذاشت. ویدرنه می‌خواست در كنار شاه بماند و با او به آسیا برگردد. بنابراین خشایارشا مسئولیت بازگرداندن ارتش ایران از طریق تنگه داردانل به آسیا را به ویدرنه سپرد. [۶] [۷] پس از این، هیچ چیز دیگری در مورد ویدرنه گزارش نشده است.
