Gran Sasso d'Italia erdialdeko Italiako mendigune bat da, Apeninoetan dagoena, Abruzzo eskualdean. Corno Grande (2.912 metro) Gran Sassoko eta Apeninoetako gailurrik gorena da. Gran Sassoko eta Laga mendietako Parke Nazionalaren parte da.

Geografia

Gran Sasso mendiguneak bi zati ditu, guztiz bereiziak: ekialdea eta mendebaldea. Mendebaldean, Campo Imperatoretik igotzen da mendigunera; haitz zorrotzez inguraturiko goi ordoki bat da, naziek Mussolini askatu zuten tokia hain zuzen, eta "Piccolo Tibet" ere esaten diote.
