Eztei urteurren

Eztei urteurrena (edo ezkontza urteurrena) ezkontzatik urte kopuru zehatza bete den eguna da. Urtero, ezkontza oroitzeko unea izaten da ezkontideen artean, eta ohikoa izaten da opari bat jasotzea edo ospakizun bat egitea (afari bat jatetxean, adibidez).

Urtemugak pribatuan egin ohi dira, salbu-eta 25, 50 eta 75. urteurrenetan, horietan jai bat egiten baita gonbidatuekin. Ohikoa da, halaber, ezkontideek oroimenezko opari bat jasotzea beren senide eta lagunengandik. Urteurren hauek izen berezia dute:

Erlijioren bat dutenek, ohitura dute beren sinesmenen arabera ospakizunen bat egitea.

Hedaduraz, eztei urteurrenak ere deitzen dira (urrezko, zilarrezko era platinozko ezteiak), erakundeen, ekitaldien edo pertsona baten izaeraren urtemugetan[1].

Izenak

Herri ohituren arabera, ezkontza-urteak material batekin lotzen dira (landarea, animalia edo minerala, adibidez), edo baita lore, zuhaitz edo metal batekin ere. XIX. mendean, zerrenda horien aipamena almanaketan[2] edo prentsa herrikoian aurki zitekeen.
