Radikaaldemokraatia (Tšiili erakond)

Radikaaldemokraatia (hispaania keeles Democracia Radical) oli Tšiilis aastatel 1969–1973 ja 1983–1990 tegutsenud paremtsentristlik erakond.

Erakonna asutasid Radikaalsest Parteist eraldunud antikommunistid, kes olid vastu partei otsusele toetada 1970. aasta presidendivalimistel Salvador Allendet (kes need valimised võitis), eelistades talle Jorge Alessandrit. Selle ideoloogiliseks eelkäijaks oli varem tegutsenud Radikaaldemokraatlik Partei.

1973. aastal sai erakond Tšiili parlamendi alamkoja valimisel 1,94% häältest ja kaks kohta, ülemkoja valimisel 2,18% häältest ja mitte ühtegi kohta. Erakond pooldas samal aastal Augusto Pinocheti juhtimisel läbi viidud riigipööret, mille käigus kukutati marksistlik valitsus, saadeti laiali parlament ja peatati kõigi erakondade tegevus.

1983. aastal sai erakond loa tegevuse jätkamiseks.

1988. aastal toimunud rahvahääletusel, millega küsiti Pinochetile mandaati riigijuhina jätkamiseks, toetas erakond jah-kampaaniat, mis kaotas.

1989. aasta presidendivalimistel toetas erakond senist rahandusministrit Hernán Büchi, kes jäi alla opositsiooni kandidaadile. Samal ajal toimunud parlamendivalimistel kogus erakond loosungi all "Tsentristlik erakond juurtega ajaloos, teenimas Tšiili tulevikku" ainult 0,42% häältest.

1990. aastal ühines erakond veel mitme Pinocheti režiimi toetanud väikese erakonnaga, kuid juba järgmisel aastal läks nende loodud ühenderakond lõplikult laiali.
