Gunnar Kilgas

Gunnar Kilgas (8. mai 1926 Narva – 6. august 2005 Tallinn) oli eesti näitleja ja lavastaja.

Eluloost

Gunnar Kilgas lõpetas 1944. aastal Tallinna Reaalkooli ja 1949. aastal Eesti NSV Riikliku Teatriinstituudi näitleja erialal. Ta mängis esimeses Eesti NSVs valminud mängufilmis "Elu tsitadellis" (1947).

Seejärel töötas ta näitlejana Lõuna-Eesti Teatris (1949–1951), Vanemuises (1951–1960) ja Eesti Draamateatris (1960–1969). Aastatel 1950–1951 oli Kilgas Eesti Raadios diktor.[1]

1982. aastal sai Kilgas Eesti NSV teeneline kunstitegelase aunimetuse.

Aastatel 1969–1986 oli Kilgas Eesti Televisioonis telelavastuste režissöör. Tema üks tuntumaid telelavastusi on A. H. Tammsaare romaani "Elu ja armastus" põhjal valminud "Rudolf ja Irma".

Aastatel 1987–1992 töötas ta Vanalinnastuudios kirjandusala juhatajana ja aastatel 1993–1995 sealsamas lavastajana. Kilgas on esinenud paljudes Eesti Raadio lugemistundides ja kuuldemängudes, ta on tõlkinud ka näidendeid.

Alates 1995. aastast oli ta vabakutseline.[1]

Oli 1950–1952 abielus Ellen Kaarmaga.[4]

Poeg kooselust näitleja Velda Otsusega on kulturist-atleetvõimleja Indrek Otsus.

1962. aastal alustas Gunnar Kilgas kooselu Ita Everiga, kellega oldi koos kuni Kilgase surmani 2005. aastal.[5] Ta on maetud Tallinna Metsakalmistule.
