Eesti Teadlaste Liit

Eesti Teadlaste Liit (lühend ETL) on aastal 1989[1][2] Tartus asutatud liit, mis ühendab kas Eestis töötavaid, Eesti päritolu või välismaal Eestiga seotud küsimusi uurivaid teadlasi[3][2].

Põhikirja järgi on Eesti Teadlaste Liidu eesmärgid järgmised[4]:

  • "liidu liikmete ühendamine kutseorganisatsiooniks, mis esindab ja kaitseb teadlasi kõigil riigi- ja kohaliku võimu tasanditel";
  • "aidata kaasa eesti teadlaste integratsioonile erinevate teadusharude ja institutsioonide esindajate mitteformaalsete kontaktide ja teabevahetuse kaudu";
  • "osaleda ametkondadevahelise neutraalse instantsina kõigis ressursside jaotamisega seotud otsustes, eriti neis, mis puudutavad otseselt teadus- ja arendustegevuse finantseerimist".
