Yoshinori Takeuchi (竹內 義憲, Takeuchi Yoshinori, born 8 October 1992) is a Japanese badminton player.^[2][3]

Career summary

In 2013, he competed at the Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia.^[2][4] In 2014, he became the runner-up at the U.S. Open Grand Prix tournament in the men's doubles event partnered with Taiki Shimada.^[5]

Takeuchi announced his retirement via Instagram on 28 March 2025.^[6]

Personal life

In 2018, Takeuchi married Mami Naito, a former member of the Japan national team.^[7]

BWF World Tour (1 runner-up)

The BWF World Tour, which was announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018,^[8] is a series of elite badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World Tour is divided into levels of World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300 (part of the HSBC World Tour), and the BWF Tour Super 100.^[9]
