Hello... When I go to www.jstor.org, I am automatically redirected to the TWL login page. (It's not a real redirect, because the "back" browser button doesn't go back to www.jstor.org.) As a result, I'm unable to access JSTOR except by logging in to TWL (which I don't want to do, as I don't want to have to meet the activity requirements for TWL access just to get to JSTOR content).
I'm using Chrome, and this doesn't happen in Incognito mode, and doesn't happen when I use other browsers, so I deduce it's a Chrome setting somewhere. I can't find the relevant setting anywhere. I deleted all JSTOR and TWL cookies, that did not fix the issue. Does anyone know how to stop JSTOR from redirecting to TWL? Thanks in advance for any help/tips, Levivich (talk) 17:43, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm struggling to access the article at https://www-tandfonline-com.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org/doi/full/10.1080/13642529.2014.913941 (The Palestinian refugee camps: the promise of ‘ruin’ and ‘loss’ by Fatina Abreek-Zubiedat)
When I click "Read this article" I am redirected to: Log in via your institution / Access through your institution.
Any help appreciated, thank you. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 07:10, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that Tylor & Francis Online papers which had access via Wikipedia Library before, are not accessible anymore. Example: https://www-tandfonline-com.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org/doi/full/10.1080/02724634.2014.925909 Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 03:25, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, it's not at all clear from this page how to take advantage of the Wikipedia Library. Can someone tell me what I would need to do? AndyJones (talk) 20:48, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering how to resolve a blanket message I see when using "newspaperarchive-com" via The Wikipedia Library to add references to articles. To provide an example, if you look at reference number 6 of the Crumbles murders article, you can see that a portion of the reference has flagged an alert for using TWL as a reference ("Wikipedia Library link in |url= (help)"). I have been using TWL from time to time since February to research and reference articles and, to the best of my knowledge, this "red flagging" of sections of references issue has only begun appearing in the last day or two. Can someone please advise me how to resolve this flagging? The references are verifiable and reliable. Thanks. Kieronoldham (talk) 19:07, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I sent two emails to the Wikipedia Library team but got no responses. Whenever I try to access one of the sources I receive this message: You have tripped an automated security rule in EZProxy. Common reasons for this might be trying to download too many items in a short period of time or using a web proxy. Please contact the Wikipedia Library team at [email protected] so this block can be reviewed.
I indeed do use a proxy, but that's just because I need one to gain access to a major part of the internet. Is it possible to review my block? Thanks. Amir Ghandi (talk) 09:46, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi all, and thank you so much for your work on the amazing Wikipedia Library. In the new era of newspapers.com, after the original login account system, I was re-approved for newspapers.com but when I surf to WP:LIBRARY and click through, it launches newspapers.com and I'm logged in via my account I made when Wikipedia Library started, but I have no access. I see the button for "try 7 days free" while I'm logged in there, and nothing really works. BTW, I don't see how to request access to a new site.
