Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, as a state university, is home to a community of Wikipedians who have been actively contributing to Wikimedia projects for many years.

CBSUA has strong ties with PH-WC and Bikol Wikipedia Community. The roots of the partnership can be traced back to 2012, with conferences and training sessions involving CBSUA faculty and students beginning in 2017.^[1] In 2023, the CBSUA Wiki Club became the first university based organization of Wikimedians in the Philippines.

This meetup aims to provide opportunities for knowledge exchange and capacity building among contributors and educators, and promote the use of Wikimedia projects as valuable tools for education and the free dissemination of knowledge.

All participants introduced themselves to foster camaraderie and strengthen collaboration among members and volunteers of the CBSUA Wiki Club.

A. Accreditation of the CBSUA Wiki Club. The group discussed the planned application of the CBSUA Wiki Club for accreditation as an official student organization at CBSUA–Pili. The accreditation requirements prescribed by the University were reviewed, and specific responsibilities were assigned to attendees to facilitate the preparation and submission of the required documents.

The following documentary requirements were identified:

• Annual Accomplishment Report
• Financial Report of All Activities
• Certification of Existing Bank Account of the Organization
• Work and Financial Plan
• Roster of the Names and Addresses of Current Officers and Members, attested by the Adviser
• Duly Accomplished Data Forms of Newly Elected Officers and Adviser
• Class Schedule of Current Officers and Members
• Calendar of Activities
• Constitution and By-Laws
• Philosophy, Vision, and Mission of the Organization

Members agreed to work collaboratively to complete the documentary requirements within the prescribed timeline.

B. Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWPPH) 2026. Preparations for the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWPPH) 2026 campaign were discussed. Attendees were encouraged to actively participate by contributing quality photographs to Wikipedia pages that require images. The initiative was highlighted as an opportunity to increase the visibility of local heritage, culture, biodiversity, and community resources through Wikimedia projects.

C. Wiki Education Initiatives. During the meet-up, upcoming Wiki Education initiatives are also discussed. As a Wikimedia partner institution, CBSUA, through its Wiki Club, will strengthen student participation in these initiatives and become one of the organization's goals to engage in future Wiki programs.

Other matters concerning the organization's upcoming activities (such as Wiki Loves Earth in the PH 2026), future collaborations, and membership engagement were discussed. Attendees were encouraged to remain active in Wikimedia initiatives and support the organization's planned programs and projects.

There being no further matters to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
