Wanaty [vaˈnatɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łaskarzew, within Garwolin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Łaskarzew, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Garwolin, and 58 km (36 mi) south-east of Warsaw.

During the German occupation of Poland in World War II, units of Schutzpolizei and Sonderdienst, led by Kreishauptmann Karl Freudenthal "pacified" the village and brutally murdered 108 inhabitants.
