Hi there, I am trying to figure out what relevant information is missing on Sammy Guevara's MLW stint? He had 4-5 matches, all losses, no storylines and nothing notable. Why is it tagged for "Expansion"? Honestly, his MLW stint is so trivial it should just be part of the "independent circuit". An article should not contain a match-by-match listing of all activities, it should recap significant information. MPJ-DK (talk) 23:35, 2 February 2019 (UTC)

Hello. Yes, the reddit/In wrestling thing was a nightmare. I didn't give my two cents, but I udnerstand the reason. I think the In wrestling section was a nightmare, I tried to keep it sourced and in shape, but was horrible (things like one time moves, the nicknames...). My personal opinion is we're fuck XD. Admins didn't like the project since we have too much kayfabe and In universe stuff. Fans didn't like us since they think we are to serious and follow too much rules. It's the same behaviour I found in the Impact roster. I will try to include the people in the article. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:10, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

It is very different than saying MJF has a match. They specifically show him having a match, just blurring out the other face. That means he has a match we just don't know against who yet. When Becky won the rumble, her WM match was put up as against TBA. Last year when Paige announced a tag team tournament and the winner would get a title shot at SummerSlam, it was put up a Bludgeon Brothers vs TBA. This is no different. It is standard practice - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 20:38, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of facts, so if he has not done anything SIGNIFICANT in 5-6 months then NO, the article should not be updated - you are thinking of cagematch.net which is a database of matches. Oh and let's recap what has been added to the article about his international travels
So not really an indiscriminate list of his tours of Japan. "first" is more significant than "second" or "third" tour, same as "first televised WWE match" is worth mentioning "Second television match" is trivia. MPJ-DK (talk) 00:20, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

I am disappointed. You should have just told about your concerns rather than asking the admins and then they giving me anonymous advice. However, I admittedly regret my rapid GARs. I think Triple H one is reasonable. Cody and Matt Hardy if you want me to remove them please let me know. And with CM Punk, FAR is different from FARC. I have given my comments to all of them but did not get serious response for improvement. If you want, I can also bring down the FAR to peer review. But honestly, I am shocked to hear that I have been such a liability in WP:PW. I always though everyone behaved properly and were respectful and civil towards one another. Again, if you want, I can leave from there and focus on other projects instead.
I am not here because of my ANI report here, I just here to inform you about this. Most likely I am going to blocked given the support for that, and I leave it completely up to the admins. I hope you continue to contribute in wrestling articles and fight against vandals. If it is the last time me being around, it was a pleasure to work with you. Please let the rest of the PW crew know about it, and I enjoyed working with you people this short time. Everyone were really nice to me there. If there is one advice I can give (you can ignore), you are really a loyal editor, but please don't be afraid to raise concerns directly. Thanks. Inclusion in lists contained within articles should be determined by WP:SOURCELIST, in that the entries must have the same importance to the subject as would be required for the entry to be included in the text of the article according to Wikipedia policies and guidelines (including Wikipedia:Trivia sections).
You persist in changing the Paige (wrestler) article section's header from "Smackdown general manager (2018)" to "Smackdown general manager (2018-present)" but the article's text says "the general manager position was quietly removed" and "Paige is to remain around the show but not in the same position". Thus her tenure as Smackdown general manager did NOT extend past 2018 into the present and to say that it has done so is misleading. LE (talk) 05:24, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

I'm not trying to bicker with you or anything, but on the ROH roster page, we don't have to include anything about signing with NJPW. Truth is, lots of ROH guys work with other companies (either as side gigs, or as their primary promotion using ROH as the side gig). I just don't want to start going down rabbit holes and having everyone's outside business to start being included (the exception being if they hold outside titles that ROH acknowledges) - just makes a mess.
Thank you.

Apologies, I was somehow logged out making that last revision, thus my IP Address as opposed to my username. However, I feel that referring to Trey by one name is inaccurate as Impact have posted several videos with his kayfabe surname along with them alternating between calling him Trey Miguel and just Trey on commentary. I have provided sources to validate my edits and therefore fail to understand the purpose of starting an edit war. I'm sorry but I gave you sources which directly contradict what you were saying and an additional link which showed an example of what I was saying with Zachary Wentz. If you watch any given episode of Impact Wrestling their chyrons (the nameplates which show up on-screen) refer to Zachary as simply "Wentz" and Dezmond Xavier as "Dez" while their official names are the full names they are credited with on the article. What's missing exactly to keep the page on the wikipedia? What should I add to avoid being deleted? Thanks. Djene94
You misunderstood my edit on the article Drew McIntyre, I did not remove anything important. There was an excessive non notable information of a Raw segment. I just removed it and added a more notable information of his recent WrestleMania 35 performance and my edits were well sourced. Please compare the review and discuss on the talk page and keep the well sourced information I added. Dilbaggg (talk) 13:55, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
During the match they brawled throughout the arena, the climax saw McIntyre pin Ambrose after a brutal Claymore kick to Ambrose's head while Ambrose was trapped inside the railings.
Ok I understand the part, I do apologise for the bolded part for not being encyclopedic, I might have made the same error on Dean Ambrose, but hopefully you include the match. Regarding the second match with Dean, nowhere is every thing included, only the most important issues, or else all the wrestlers articles would be flooded by week by week coverages on what happened on Raw. I fail to see the importance of the second match, as the first one was highly praised. Regardless since they are sourced no harm done. But thank youbfor including back the WrestleMania 35 information. Dilbaggg (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi,Static. I think we need to talk. I saw you reverted some of my last editions. As you know, I'm trying to remove no notable stuff, like no notable matches. However, you include them again saying "are notable". As I read in other parts of Wikipedia, one main complain is the excesive detail of storylines and talking about wrestling like a real thing, not a kayfabe thing. I read a lot of artiles about old wrestlers like Vader, Hart and Piper and I see a different style, which I prefer. We talk about them only with keypoints, not every storyline. For example, Mike Kanellis, I think his storyline where he lost some matches is no notable at all. In 5 years, it would be a random line. I don't know what do you think, of course, I know both of us work for a better Wikipedia, but I want to explain my actions. I prefer to keep wrestling as a kayfabe spectacle and using key point, not every minor storyline. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:31, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

I moved Becky to Raw because WWE.com lists her on both the Raw and SD superstar page, and to balance out the pics on the WWE personnel article.
I would not have done this move if WWE.com didn't list her on both shows. I know what her bio says, but they only list her as SD Champion when she is "Becky 2 Belts", so you can't go strictly by that.

Hi there, I just wanted to discuss the subheadings for Mickie James's "Return to WWE" section. I will admit my edits were not great, I do believe saying "NXT appearance and storyline with Alexa Bliss" and then "Heel turn and reunion with Bliss" sounds a little redundant. I know it's a little hard because of how wacky (quite disappointing if you ask me) her recent run has been. She's basically been attached at the hip to Alexa since she came back in some form of fashion which is why I believe it should be one section. And saying "heel turn" I believe isn't necessary since she started as a heel. But I do undersrand that my "Singles Competition" subheading was not great since she hasn't done anything now that she's on SmackDown and away from Bliss. I just wanted to talk about possible ways to improve it or if it would be best to leave as is until she does something of note in the near future. Thank you. Sir Wrestler (talk)

Please refrain from reverting my edits without first consulting me, as I find it disrespectful. I have again changed the wording to one that is less messy, this time omitting any mention of the current status of the relationship. The engagement was revealed far before March 2018, so that was inaccurate. Also, the "reports" you speak of are nothing more than rumors from unreliable sources loaded with inconsistencies. It shouldn't have been changed in the first place. :) ☧Catholic Laitinen ☧ (talk) 13:46, 14 May 2019 (UTC)

The end of the match saw Sheamus throwing Neville off the ladder and retrieving the briefcase thus winning the match. but it doesn't reflect this info on his wiki page. Please note that it is not appropriate to add record labels or other companies in navboxes, unless there is some intrinsic link to the artist, i.e. they founded the label or brand. Record labels usually have large rosters, so there is no unique tie to the artist, therefore, per WP:NAVBOX and WP:UNDUE they are not appropriate links. This is a long standing precedent, so please stop re-adding. (Also note how record label rosters are not appropriate for navboxes for the label). The same goes for non-artist specific compilation albums. Submitting a single track to a compilation album is only a tangential tie, and probably isn't usually even worth a mention on a discography page, yet alone a navbox. --woodensuperman 08:08, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi, regarding the revert I just thought that the lead was getting overpopulated with information that's already in the article such as "Brown's fourth album F.A.M.E. (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200; it spawned the singles "Yeah 3x", "Look at Me Now", and "Beautiful People"" which is also in the separate album article. Also, I took out the "Chris Brown at SPAC in Saratoga New York in 2015." image because you can't actually see him in the image and most of the image is just the crowd; it's not the best picture to use don't you think? 8eatle (talk) 15:56, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

As per WP:PW, the WWE official stats are considered to be the most reliable, so WWE.com is superior Hunterb212 (talk) 18:42, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
And you are now engaging in edit warring as outlined in WP:EW. As stated WWE official stats are considered most accurate, it's the first site listed in sources as per WP:PW. You had no reason to make the edit in the first place when the source cited is already known to be reliable. The next step I will report you to administrators for edit warring and making unnecessary edits because of clear bias without legitimate need to improve accuracy. Hunterb212 (talk) 19:02, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
I see you changed it back and I'm alright with that, I won't resort to being petty and edit war with you. But I did notice when you click on the link you cited the site is in Japanese and nowhere is Cody Rhodes height clearly listed. If you look at the height on WWE.com it is clearly listed in English and it says 6'2". Just saying. Hunterb212 (talk) 02:31, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
Well that is probably actually closer to his real height as they tend to exaggerate in billed stats anyway. Fair enough, and just for the record I never intended to vandalize. I do actually want to contribute in a constructive manner when possible on here. Since I've been made aware of the rules on editing and citing sources I am doing my best to follow them. More new features are being added to the feed, including the important red alert for previously deleted pages. This will only work if it is selected in your filters. Best is to 'select all'. Do take a moment to check out all the new features if you have not already done so. If anything is not working as it should, please let us know at NPR. There is now also a live queue of AfC submissions in the New Pages Feed. Feel free to review AfCs, but bear in mind that NPP is an official process and policy and is more important.
Articles are still not always being checked thoroughly enough. If you are not sure what to do, leave the article for a more experienced reviewer. Please be on the alert for any incongruities in patrolling and help your colleagues where possible; report patrollers and autopatrolled article creators who are ostensibly undeclared paid editors. The displayed ORES alerts offer a greater 'at-a-glance' overview, but the new challenges in detecting unwanted new content and sub-standard reviewing do not necessarily make patrolling any easier, nevertheless the work may have a renewed interest factor of a different kind. A vibrant community of reviewers is always ready to help at NPR.
The backlog is still far too high at between 7,000 and 8,000. Of around 700 user rights holders, 80% of the reviewing is being done by just TWO users. In the light of more and more subtle advertising and undeclared paid editing, New Page Reviewing is becoming more critical than ever.
NPR is triage, it is not a clean up clinic. This move feature is not limited to bios so you may have to slightly re-edit the text in the template before you save the move. Anything that is not fit for mainspace but which might have some promise can be draftified - particularly very poor English and machine and other low quality translations.
Remember to use the message feature if you are just tagging an article for maintenance rather than deletion. Otherwise articles are likely to remain perma-tagged. Many creators are SPA and have no intention of returning to Wikipedia. Use the feature too for leaving a friendly note note for the author of a first article you found well made or interesting. Many have told us they find such comments particularly welcoming and encouraging.
Admins are now taking advantage of the new time-limited user rights feature. If you have recently been accorded NPR, do check your user rights to see if this affects you. Depending on your user account preferences, you may receive automated notifications of your rights changes. Requests for permissions are not mini-RfAs. Helpful comments are welcome if absolutely necessary, but the bot does a lot of the work and the final decision is reserved for admins who do thorough research anyway.
School and academic holidays will begin soon in various places around the Western world. Be on the lookout for the usual increase in hoax, attack, and other junk pages.
Our next newsletter might be announcing details of a possible election for co-ordinators of NPR. If you think you have what it takes to micro manage NPR, take a look at New Page Review Coordinators - it's a job that requires a lot of time and dedication.

It's like the difference between Greg Valentine and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Or Macho Man Randy Savage. Nothing changes, just rolls off the tongue, like Yushin "Thunder" Okami. Kishin Liger and Keiichi Yamada, whole other deals, but if he's a dragon in a Power Ranger suit, his ringname alone works fine. In 30 years, nobody has confused him with anyone else, like Superstar Graham or Stunning Steve or Hurricane Helms. But if I'm wrong and you know it matters, that's fine, too. I won't fight for it.
Maybe just include the paragraph about the 2019 indy match in the section about his (alleged) six-year year indy career since the butthole surfing incident, kill two birds with one running thunderbomb, so to speak? Wrestlers "retire" all the time, and this one started itching again in the very same breath, even angling for Riddle by name. Regarding my edit to the List of Impact Wrestling personnel page... I only adjusted the wording of Bhupinder Singh's status to match the article that was already cited. The "Assigned to OVW" was news to me, so I followed the listed source and read the article. It didn't say anything about Bhupinder Singh being assigned to OVW - it does however say that he is currently training in Windsor, Ontario. I just adjusted the text to reflect what was actually noted in the source.Dahumorist (talk) 05:05, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
I'll put my hand up and admit my mistake on that one. I misread "Ontario" as "OVW" somehow. SkylerLovefist (talk) 01:33, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
I noticed that you've reverted my edit mentioning the fact that Lacey Evans' ring name is identical to her sister's maiden name, with the justification that it was unsourced. That information does in fact appear about halfway through the referenced article, in the following sentence:
"So they made it Lacey Evans, which was my sister’s legal name up until the time she got married."
The ref tag existed prior to my edit, and I failed to make any mention of that information's existence in my edit summary, so I understand the confusion.
I've reverted the article to my previous edit and made mention of the sourcing in the edit summary. All the best. Creeot (talk) 12:48, 23 July 2019 (UTC)

KENTA can still win A block after night. From NJPW official site: "KENTA must win, and beat ZSJ in his last match, with Okada losing to EVIL and Ibushi, while Ibushi loses against ZSJ." [11] KENTA would win the block as he holds tiebreakers over Ibushi and EVIL.

Can I pick your brain for a minute?
Assuming the rumors are true and NXT gets a 2-hour prime time show on USA, should it then be considered a main roster brand instead of a stepping stone?
It would give NXT pretty much equal footing with Raw and SD as it will have a prime time spot on a major network, and it would be hard to say that people would be getting "called up" from NXT should they move to Raw or SD when the yellow brand itself is on prime time national mainstream TV and not "hidden away" on the WWE Network - basically, it would be a lateral move at this point (just like now if someone went from Raw/SD to NXT).
Just wanted your 2¢ on the matter.
