Why did you edit my home town page with misinformation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by IAmColt (talk • contribs) 03:52, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the information on this page on behalf of Dr. Marzano because the information was completely outdated. I work with him. I also know that I do not need to cite sources for published books as this information does not require a source. I have cited everything else in the article. Thanks -- Rogers0031
I changed Shoeless Joe Jackson's batting average to the correct value. Here is the reference. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/j/jacksjo01.shtml — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desertmonk (talk • contribs) 22:11, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I keep noticing your articles getting marked as reviewed, so I thought I'd do this since there's obviously no need for your work to be checked. I hope you don't think it's an imposition. You don't actually have to do anything, but maybe watchlist the page for a bit to see what happens. I have no doubt it'll be routinely granted.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 22:11, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that was fast. They gave it to you. You won't even notice, but it'll trim the unpatrolled pages list. Congrats!— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 22:28, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
When looking at the article history tab, you can compare two versions and then undo to go back to the first version. You can also click the date and see the previous version, "edit " to open the old version and then save to re-establish the article as it was then. No fancy roll back tools needed. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:05, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you're going to remove content from this page for supposedly unsourced content, then you need to be consistent and remove all content for "unsourced content". That would include Drew Barrymore (whoo by the way did *not* live in CC), Jack Black, Dee Dee Davis, Jackson Browne, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.34.88.118 (talk) 13:37, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The link referenced in the article shows evidence that Petway may have been born in Gee's Bend, Alabama Boykin). According to the article, there's as much evidence, if not more, that he was born there as opposed to Yazoo City. Is there another reason this was deleted? Just wondering. Thanks! The update tag was needed because events of 2013 were mentioned in the future sense, and because certain things need to fixed regarding the death of Prince Roy. pbp 19:54, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I delete your editing of the page Chinese Canadian. My younger brother is a Chinese Canadian, he speaks French with a French accent, because he learned French in cartoons before going to school. And there are many Chinese Canadian who speaks French with a French accent, because they learned French in cartoons, or they don't want to speak with a Canadian accent, the Canadian accent is strange, the word tête is pronounced "tight". 162.247.121.237 (talk) 19:50, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, thanks for helping with the Lake Charles article. The only thing I don't like is the picture under the industry setting. It's an old picture, and only barely shows the industry in the background, while some family is in the foreground. It doesn't really do much justice for the topic at hand.
CTtcg (talk) 15:18, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well if I had to choose one, it would be the Sunset over Olin-Mathieson picture. I just don't think showing individuals in a picture like that is a good idea, even if they are older photos. CTtcg (talk) 16:02, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I like the edits on Prien Lake too. It's good to have more information there. I readjusted the pics. When the new casino is built that old photo can be replaced with one showing both of them. CTtcg (talk) 20:04, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You reverted my edit of Lake Charles Music "It is the subject of the song, 21 Miles to Lake Charles Prison, performed by Johnny Paycheck and written by Aubrey Mayhew" with the request "Please provide a reference stating the location of "Lake Charles Prison"" I don't understand the relevance of the location of "Lake Charles Prison"" This is about a song, not a prison. You are welcome. As for fixing it myself, I might not have the correct information or the inclination to look for it. Further, I have made what I consider to be helpful revisions to articles, only to receive a stern note from someone, and to have the edit reverted. Given the tight censorship maintained by Wikipedia, I have decided that simply pointing out the error, and letting anyone who desires to do so, fix it, is the best course of action. Hi, Magnolia.
Thanks for your observation. The name has two distinct parts: Klamath + Falls, each with their own origin. Klamath, although tough to find an exact origin, is intimately related to the people that lived in the "region". Falls relates to the white waters just downstream of the Link River Dam. Perhaps the epigraph ought to be rewritten for clarity to reflect these two unique aspects of the name of the city. Good day Bobjgalindo (talk) 22:29, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Magnolia677,
Sure the images are mine, but I'm not adding them for my own benefit; I don't even say they're mine anywhere but each image description page. I added them because Valhalla has very few images and could use some, so free images of anything Valhalla should be most welcome. I also made the gallery collapsed, because I know the article is primarily about Valhalla, and don't want fire department images so prominent on the page. So I don't see why the images aren't welcome on the article.--ɱ (talk) 14:53, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Killarney disappeared in totum by ~2002, or 03. In the winter we had the ability to see the house foundations, thats pretty much gone now, in 09, they wiped the hollers slick due to flooding, and by the way, that was the death knell for Pickshin WV as well. There WAS a church there, but its gone. The processing plant is East Gulf Proper BUT all other belts feed the East Gulf Plant. When you follow the belt down what we call coal city road, it stops at the East Gulf Plant. Believe it or not, (you probably will), there was a time when you could sit on steps of the old houses..The mountain in the newer topo maps is also a misnomer. That mountain is the spent coal/waste pile of another town, Lillybrook. Lillybrook, has some VERY small homes that are on the edge of being dozed, but that town proper should also be a ghost town. Lillybrook was for all intents a giant, as was Killarney, its old processing plant was gargantuan even by todays standards.Coal town guy (talk) 14:15, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have made a start on reverting Ahellweg's attempt to rewrite history. I did 15 reversions, in chronological order, from his oldest one up to Target Field. Hi there, I've changed the edit back and replaced the citation needed tag with a real reference now. I was going to get back to it later. Usually {{cn}} tags and citations themselves shouldn't be in the lead (as per WP:LEAD) so I removed that tag and replaced it with a real one in the article. Thank you. ☠ Jaguar ☠ 20:58, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Magnolia677, As DRV isn't the best place for this I figured we should discuss here, I apologize If I was unhelpful on my talkpage - It wasn't my intention at all, My reply to you wasn't supposed to have been unhelpful at all, I admit the "because it seemed notable?" remark was perhaps unhelpful but it seemed to me that you didn't have any idea about AFD hence why I pointed you in that direction, I'm the politest & nicest bloke you could ever speak to :) - but I'm also "uncivil" when "things go wrong with everyone" if you like, Anyway I apologize And I also apologize for the AFD message which I've now removed :), Anyway If you need any help just ask :) Have a nice day, Regards, –Davey2010 • (talk) 22:33, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Magnolia677 I seen you disagree with the article I have written, it fails WP:ENTERTAINER you voted. Well please explain why you disagree, when I notice several articles that doesn't meet the Wikipedia guidelines but it not nominated for deletion. Please review this article of Paul Bates with no references to what notability with minor roles. I don't understand how this article is allow without explaining its point of view or reliable source of verification. Another argument is this article Brittney Wilson she shares the same resources database as I used. She doesnt have any other references of explanation to be consider notable as a entertainer. My last argument is this article Young Cartoon has no notability and fails WP:ENTERTAINER, exceed dead links and article doesn't meet any standards to be notable. In conclusion if these articles can pass and be accepted to Wikipedia guidelines, my article should be Kept as well. I think you help me saved my first article from deletion and help improve it. I noticed you made some edits to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogue_Chitto,_Lincoln_County,_Mississippi You noted you were removing someone born in chicago. Removing Bobby Moak who is the state representative for this district and lives and has an office on monticello street in bogue chitto. I believe the section was notable people and not people born in Bogue Chitto. If you google to find his bio, why not see that his home address is in Bogue Chitto?... http://billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/members/house/moak.xml Although, I completely disagree with this edit, that's not why I'm reaching out. You seem to have made a manual edit and noted it. For some reason you care or you're just a nit pick. Anyway, for whatever reason, I need some mentoring. I'm missing something. 1. Why would you go to the trouble to find out that Bobby Moak is actually born in Chicago and then make that edit? 2. Bogue Chitto is the city with the highest divorce rate but http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20130214/NEWS01/302140041/Love-gets-tested-Bogue-Chitto ... the link is now behind a paywall and there is a note with the edit... "unsustainable". How do I fix this? 3. The main body of the article depends on a history gathered by the eastern star and DAR but the link is now dead, how do I fix that? That pretty much destroys the page. At which point, the page might as well be marked for deletion. For a page that is so completely and thoroughly insignificant, I've received a constant stream of edits, but I'm completely open to suggestions which is sadly what I find lacking from wikipedia. I'm putting it all on the line. Tell me how to fix this page or kill it. Shi Jun ning (talk) 17:30, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi-User:The Catalyst31 added a list of census-designated places to the user page and there are 4 census-designated places in Mississippi that need articles. You may want to look at the list. Are you giving me homework? I have no obligation to go and find refs for other editors' allegations. Edits with "citation needed" for a year or so are not credible, and have no place in the article.--Mycomp (talk) 05:33, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Magnolia677, thanks for your attention to the Moorhead, Minnesota page. I understand you altered my entries and you are correct, I am new to Wiki editing. I established an account when an individual contacted the City to update the employment section. Be my guest if you are willing to do so in a more accurate way! I wrote the City's website so don't consider using this content as plagiarism, but sorry if it is. My goal was only to correct outdated references and to get enough edits in to attain status necessary to update the City's logo. If you would like to do so on the City's behalf, please do! That would help tremendously. http://www.cityofmoorhead.com/about-the-city/logos — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moorheadfactchecker (talk • contribs) 14:19, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'm sorry but my net access is going to be severely limited for the next month or so, so I will not be able to do anything to help in the situation you described.
As a matter of fact, my access is going to be so limited that I need to ask you for a favor. Could you keep an eye on Bowling Green, Kentucky for me? I had a dust up with an editor there who took great offense at my very appropriate revert of an edit they made. You'll be able to figure out what is up from a look at the article's talk page, and possibly mine and his (don't think you will need to look at the talk page at the edit war noticeboard or at the request for mediation.) I really don't know how things spun so bad, but I am sure that at some point he is going to replace the stuff that did not belong in the transportation section. Please do what you can. If that is nothing I understand. Thanks! John from Idegon (talk) 16:50, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply. I did review the COI policy and I find no conflict with my role as a public servant. My goal is current, accurate information about the City of Moorhead. The name "Old Order German Baptist Brethren" for the "Old German Baptist Brethren" is an old and today misleading usage. Since 1921 there is an other group called "Old Order German Baptist Brethren", therefore the name "Old Order German Baptist Brethren" for the "Old German Baptist Brethren" fell mostly out of usage. For sure there are no "Old Order German Baptist Brethren" in Hot Coffee, Mississippi. I'm an expert in Anabaptist groups. --Metron (talk) 10:59, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand all the removals, except the seal. I'm a resident of this city, that is our official seal. It's pictured on all our signs, found in the high school and school district building, and found on the tower on Government Street. Also, it's found on the official department vehicles for the city. It's not found on the site, unfortunately, for whatever reason they have. However, I do know the seal is official. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rockstomas (talk • contribs) 01:02, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the meaning of this nonsense? What kind of wording is this? This is what I hate. Someone adding information that provides a false impression. Get a bloody clue. You are being intentionally obtuse and obstructive.
How does that make you feel? If you were a new editor to Wikipedia and wanted to add something to an article, would you ever return if someone wrote this about your edits? These are some of your edit summaries pieced together. I've looked at your edits and you really do contribute meaningfully to this project. Can I suggest that if someone isn't contributing the way you want them to, leave a gentle message on their talk page. Most people on here are very reasonable and do want to contribute. If you think the car articles need better guidelines, get involved in a project to change them. I've make thousands of edits to US city articles and have found Wikipedia:WikiProject Cities/US Guideline extremely helpful. Is there a similar guideline for your car articles? If not, get one started so others know what's expected of their edits. In the past two days I twice deleted edits on the Ford F-Series article added by a new editor User talk:SpiritWarrior74. Please take a moment to read my note on their talk page. If you're knowledgeable about car articles, offer to help other editors. I bet they'd appreciate it. Nobody likes a bully. That's why I suggested a chill pill. Another good way to avoid the stress of other editors reverting your pearls of wisdom is to do like I do and just write articles, like Sneedsboro, North Carolina, that no one will ever read. If nothing else, take a moment to read some articles I've created, where you'll find joy, rapture, friendship, desire... and lots of love, love, love, love, love. Hi! I reverted your reverts of my adding the alumni lists on city pages. Per WP:USCITIES, it says "For "college towns" where students reside in the "town" only during their college years, it is preferred to list those students in the "Notable alumni" section of their respective college article, then add a "See also" in the city article "pointing" at the notable college section of the specific college article or separate notable college article."
