Hello, Cinder painter, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Below are some pages you might find helpful. For a user-friendly interactive help forum, see the Wikipedia Teahouse.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or place {{Help me}} on this page and someone will drop by to help. Hi, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that many edits you made don't have an edit summary. An edit summary is used to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. They save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. Please provide a summary for every edit you make. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, for example, if you're improving grammar, you can just write "grammar". You can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing →
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks!

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from es:Guillermo Meijón to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. For example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, please add attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Clearfrienda 💬 00:45, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:55, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
I noticed that the majors were removed from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical College article. Could you explain why?

Hello, this is was my first article. It was declined and the message I got from you is, that it is probably notable, but looks like a promotional piece and is poorly structured.
Can I ask for more clarifications please? I am going to create other articles as well but it will not have any sense for me to contribute to Wikipedia when you will reject everything what I will write.
Please clarify in details: 1. what shall I delete or change exactly? 2. what structure shall it have?
Thanks in advance Piqro24 (talk) 11:25, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Hi, this is my first article so far. I am trying to start out with writing article about engineering firms and facts. The draft was declined and I appreciate your comment on some of the content not being worded in an appropriate way. Thanks for the specification.
Furthermore you noted that the sources/ references are not reliable: Is there a problem with the sources provided or is it because the history of the company isn't supported by sources? For reference: I was looking at the article about Flottweg to get a sense for when sources are needed when writing about the company history.
Thanks in advance for the help! NosyStudent (talk) 11:37, 23 January 2025 (CST)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Nkiru Olumide-Ojo, you may be blocked from editing. Your behavior on this article is very bad. You deliberately removed a ton of sourced information (blanking) and then nominated to AfD. m a MANÍ1990(talk | contribs) 01:22, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi! As per WP:FILMPLOT, "Since films are primary sources for their articles, basic descriptions of their plots do not need references to an outside source." Sid95Q (talk) 11:25, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi, This is my first article and I am trying to start establishing myself through contributions. Mr. Lakra is a renowned person in the North western Indian state of Punjab and is well respected as well. His relevance & prominence can also be noted through the several mentions of him in the news.
The correction about a certain citation is also now taken care. Please approve.
Thanks in advance for the help & guidance. Cat09wiki (talk) 06:19, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi Cinder painter, thank you for your helpful comments on my article about Caitlin Begg. I took out the Forbes Next 1000 reference, the YouTube link, and the link from a non-notable podcast she was featured on. I took the time to find and then add considerable additional sources from Newsweek, Columbia University, Business Insider, Time, Marie Claire, HR Portal, and more. I also fixed some citation and grammar errors. I hope that this helps for the draft's next steps. Thank you and I hope you are having a nice day. I am new to Wikipedia so please excuse me if this message was not necessary, and I don't mean to rush your process in any way :) Coloradorockies453 (talk) 04:23, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for your contributions to Nkiru Olumide-Ojo. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nkiru Olumide-Ojo was closed with this outcome. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Owen× ☎ 14:39, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Cinder painter,
Deletion discussions should not be relisted more than 3 times and many editors believe they shouldn't be relisted more than twice. But definitely not four times. In fact, please do not relist AFD discussions just because they are still open, it sometimes takes closers a while to review open deletion discussions. If a consensus is clear, there is no need to relist a discussion just because it hasn't been closed yet. Thanks for your help. Liz Read! Talk! 22:43, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello Cinder painter. Thanks for reviewing the draft. I however do not understand your decision: The given reason for decline was that the the draft needs multiple published sources that are: in-depth (not just brief mentions about the subject or routine announcements), reliable, secondary, strictly independent of the subject The references at crunchbase, inriskable, dun and bradstreet are secondary references by independent companies who in-depth and reliably evaluate the draft's subject, namely the companies who run this designer social network. The draft enables especially young architects to get a fast overview about the situation they are in -thats what Wikipedia is about. So in short - I do not understand the decline and would appreciate some further comments. 2003:EA:CF47:5E00:EDEC:EE4D:814C:4BFB (talk) 07:17, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed belatedly (because of a file deletion notice) that you nominated Localgiving for deletion. As one of the main contributors to the article history, attempting to rescue it from being promotional, I would have appreciated a notice of the nomination.
For info, I have recreated the page as a redirect to a section in a related article, and trust that you have no objection to this. It might have been better to suggest that outcome in the nomination. – Fayenatic London 12:11, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for reviewing my submission. I’ve updated the draft for **Joseph A. Fansler** by adding multiple **independent, reliable sources** from established newspapers:
- The Indianapolis Star - The Indianapolis News - The Star Press - The Tampa Tribune
These sources verify early online innovations, real estate ventures, and national political engagement.
I’ve also formatted inline citations using proper `<ref>` tags and added a `
` to ensure they display correctly.
Would you be willing to review the updated draft and let me know if it now meets the notability and sourcing standards?
Thank you for your help and time!
Jfansler (talk) 08:47, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
Hi - can I ask you to reconsider your close of this, please? On the basis of concerns over the the lack of sourcing, which was not effectively refuted, I do not see this as keep. While the discussion did not reach a consensus to delete, neither is there a consensus to keep since the assertions for keep were not strongly grounded in the existence of reliable sources. The discussion would have been better relisted. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 21:51, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
Hi Cinder painter, thank you for reviewing my draft article for the internet and cloud gaming provider Pentanet. May I please ask which of the four reference criteria were missing from my draft?
I modelled the draft on similar articles from other Australian internet providers of a similar scope and notability as Pentanet. For example Superloop, Exetel, Aussie Broadband. As an ASX listed company and the exclusive operator of NVIDIA's cloud gaming service GeForce NOW in Australia I'm confident I can source references meeting the necessary criteria.

Hey Cinder, you declined my draft, stating that it was not adequately supported by reliable sources and that it was promotional. I would disagree.
(1) Sources: Sources 1, 5, and 7 were published by a reputable academic organization with thorough editing in which the subject of the biography had no hand in writing or editing. Sources 2, 6, and 8 were published by a reputable university, in which they write about their employee (the subject of the Wikipedia draft). Source 4 is a reputable institute that researches, archives, and writes biographies on African American men and women (as with the other sources, it is not self-published). Source 3 is the individual's Curriculum Vitae, which according to Wikipedia rules (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons), is ok to use when writing a BLP so long as it does not conflict with certain rules, which it does not. Sources 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are applicable for use because, as Wikipedia's rules for BLPs states, self-published sources "does not refer to a reputable organisation publishing material about who it employs or to whom and why it grants awards."
(2) Neutrality: This BLP is written conservatively, is not sensationalist, and does not spread unsupported claims. This BLP simply documents what the cited secondary sources say about the individual. It simply documents this individual's achievements, and uses clear, direct, and factual language. However, if you're insistent that there is some promotional tone throughout the page, what would you recommend changing?
thanks. J anaya05 (talk) 19:50, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
