Thanks for uploading File:CumhuriyetLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:48, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Aysun Aliyeva, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on Kurşunlu Mosque and Complex requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

A tag has been placed on Kurşunlu Mosque and Complex, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Hi. Thankyou for your participation in the challenge series or/and contests. In November The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There will be over $4000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. If this would appeal to you and you think you'd be interested in contributing new articles on women during this month for your region or wherever please sign up in the participants section. The articles done may also count towards the ongoing challenge. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate and raise money to buy books about women for others to use, this is also fine. Help would also be appreciated in drawing up the lists of missing articles. If you think of any missing articles please add them to the sub lists by continent at Missing articles. Thankyou, and if taking part, good luck!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:26, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Someone left a "cite sources template" on hte page Abdi İpekçi Park, however the page is translated from the original Turkish page. Doesn't that make the cite sources thing not apply? The original Turkish article has a source, but simply copying sources is against protocol because you need to have accessed the source yourself to add it.--TheWindInTheTrees (talk) 14:07, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It has been described as one of Turkeys most meaningful monuments. The monument represents with a sudden rising base and figures right on the edge, the unity, and leadership of Ataturk leading Turkey through a series of victories leading up to the foundation of the Turkish Republic. ==Description== It is made of 12 tonnes of Bronze and is six meters high. The base is a concrete shell with concrete columns under the bronze figures, within the base, supporting the 12 tonnes of bronze. The base of the statue contains dates starting from 19 May 1919 including the many victories during the founding of the new Turkish state, including the revolutions giving the new state its modernity, these steps represented by the different levels in the base. Ataturk at the top flanked by a boy and a girl representing the youth of the nation and the trust that they have received. It's one of the most meaningful monuments in Turkey. ==History== The president of the Ataturk Monument Creations Organisation, Muharrem Önal Bey and the architect Tarık Akıltopu organised a contest for the monument. 28 projects entered into the contest and Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gezers project was chosen. While the monument was being built, a proper location was being searched for in Antalya. Eventually the Republic Square (Turkish:Cumhuriyet Meydanı) was chosen. After the location was chosen the architect Tarık Akıltopu started to work on the foundation/base of the monument. The granite stones for the base were brought from Yenice. The monument which was funded completely from donations, was unveiled in 19 May, 1964. In 2014 the monument was extensively cleaned. ==References== * * * * * * * :Category:Outdoor sculptures in Turkey :Category:Sculptures in Turkey :Category:Sculptures :Category:1964 sculptures reflist
Hi! I can't understand why you changed Çetinkaya, Sivas to Çetinkaya, Kangal, when no other "Çetinkaya" exists within the Sivas Province. Since Çetinkaya is not a part of the Kangal urban area, the proper naming is the province, not the district. For example, Fenerbahçe, Kadıköy would be correct, because Fenerbahçe is a neighborhood with the Kadıköy urban area. This can be seen for example in Burr Ridge, Illinois, when there is only one village of that name in a state/province. When there are more than one in the same state/province, then the district/county name is included, for example Windsor, Mercer County, Illinois. Best regards. Hi,You have changed two images in Commons which I've used two days ago. When I compared the older and the newer versions the only difference I've seen is their resolution. It has shriked from about 3 Mb to to 50 kB. The obvious question is why ? Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 10:19, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; currently Wikipedia needs experienced users at this task. (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. Thanks. ~~~~
