Your first message in 2007 (wow, the wikilink already works). How's the Sydney fireworks? — Indon (reply) — 07:02, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm really bad at grammar, ain't I? Thanks. — Indon (reply) — 11:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
I think your judgement is reasonable. As I wrote on the discussion page of the article Talk:Prabowo, I did locate a source for one of the previusly unreferenced statements in the Jakarta Riots of May 1998 article and put it in the Prabowo article, but it would be an immense work to do this for all the other places which you marked. Can you recommend a good place to look for information on recent Indonesian history, beyond just searching in Google and hoping something useful will come up?Adam keller 14:03, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
If you'd checked with me before tagging I could have populated the refs section in half an hour :} I mean I did the old jav lang refs a couple of days ago - pity I cann0t speak it as well as i wanted to! SatuSuro 15:40, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Good news! The article is now featured. Next one: Borobudur. :-) — Indon (reply) — 08:18, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I put a welcome in - check watch and you have reverted an edit. Maybe starsky and hutch, or pete cook and dud moore? SatuSuro 13:59, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Rumah Gadang back up to rank 1 on G, at least for now. (Caniago 09:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC))
I would suggest that it (where they get in the order) is probably working off WP server update/refresh issues. Could be wrong. SatuSuro 12:53, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Your being piqued about the position of IArch - -http://www.orientalarchitecture.com/yogyakarta/borobudurindex.htm - is intriguing - it claims no commerical basis? SatuSuro 13:07, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Geeze we're a bit thin on the ground if I have to! SatuSuro 11:28, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello, there was a discussion at Template_talk:Regional-arch - most of the entries to regional architecture are replicated in the Architecture of (continent) template or Template:Architecture of the world - also, templates that span 100% of the page width are more easily incorporated into a variety of page layouts than the vertical aligned style templates - think about how the template might grow - if we have an entry for all of the regions of all of the countries - stacked vertically - the page would be enormous. --Mcginnly | Natter 12:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey, congrats, man! I just want to share something about FAC of recent country articles. Germany has a really tough reviews that the nominator almost pulled it off after he has done a lot of reviewers-requested oppositions (see its FAC). However, Turkey is far smoother on its FAC. Perhaps we can learn something from there. — Indon (reply) — 13:36, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Actually I think its excellent that with so few contributors actually being visibly active that the Indonesia Project has the main article at that level - I honestly think that such articles are very important for a project like this -and the fact that the related or tied in articles are at the quality that they are at is really great! - If it wasnt for my current tagging obsession ( I dont have a work block but real life is looming soon ) - so the 1,500th WP ( and then the 2,000th) tagged article will no doubt be turning up sooner than later... BTW you clearly misunderstand my interests - gamelan notation really bores the hell out of me (I prefer listening to the real ones in the yogya and solo kratons) ethnomusicologists however I cannot get enough of - but thats a much more longer complicated story - my current goal is to check the index of the just published lonely planet 7th edition of Indonesia index (very approximately 2,000 separate discrete entries) and possibly checking bill daltons 4th or 5th edition Indonesia Handbook index as a crosss reference against the wp articles lists - then I think I'd feel a lot happier with myself :) Just as well I am distracted by a few other issues - otherwise this answer would go for about another ten lines. Be thankful!! SatuSuro 13:53, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Whenever youre back on you have a serial pest at IWI. I am staying away from it will let you deal with it - probably same. SatuSuro 06:08, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm afraid I may have made a mistake with Bahasa Indonesia, however in most language that have lower/upper case features languages names are not capitalized unless they are titles or they start the sentence of course. You have plenty of examples: hrvatski (Croatian), svenska (Swedish), polski (Polish), español/castellano (Spanish)... and the same goes for most languages using the cyrillic alphabet. In fact, English if sort of an exception in these matter.
Sorry I made a mistake with Bahasa Indonesia tough.

Australia-Indonesia Relations I have just found an orphan to be wikified - do you have any memory of anything similar that it might be duplicating at all? SatuSuro 10:18, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
It is perfectly obvious; do you wish to advise an admin? michael talk 01:35, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for helping me with Bandung. I am still revamping it, so perhaps I will make some major changes or even structural. — Indon (reply) — 09:43, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, would prefer to reply to your message off-wiki since it is contentious. The send email doesn't for your account however. (Caniago 10:55, 15 January 2007 (UTC))
...needs you ;-) — Indon (reply) — 14:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
How about:
Bono (vocals, guitar)
The Edge (guitar, keyboards, vocals)
Adam Clayton (bass guitar)
Larry Mullen Jr. (drums)
I say the name should stand out a bit more. - Dudesleeper 13:08, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Examples of other articles that follow your rule of thumb and/or a decent reason why the U2 article should be different, if you will. - Dudesleeper • Talk 04:18, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Have you see this Category:European-Malays? Its getting beyond a joke. Whats the quickest way to AfD a bunch of categories? (Caniago 13:45, 18 January 2007 (UTC))
tag somewhere to leave combatants dumbfounded for a few moments SatuSuro 04:10, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Looking at the edit history, you seem to be a lone sane voice on this. So many articles at this early stage seem to get thrown at FAC, it's often difficult to bite your tongue. + Ceoil 02:38, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello - I'm contacting you because of your statement regarding using English instead of foreign terms in articles. A few are trying to "Anglicise" French terms in Wiki articles according to the correct dictionary definitions but there is some resistance (eg/: "Région => Region"; "Département => Departement"). Your input would be appreciated here page. Thankyou. --Bob 16:06, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
You're right. Looks are deceiving :) It's not worthy of a rating higher than Start at this stage. Thanks for the correction. -- Longhair\talk 08:37, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I am actually not completely new to Wikipedia. When I was in New York, I and my friend Michael sometimes worked together through his account, now that I am in another continent I started my own account. I sometime ago saw that the article on the Chinese Indeonsians had fairly good information but totally confused and without any chronological order, and I thought it would be good to order it. Andreas Kaganov 21:50, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Of what you have been through recently, the orange line is a sign youve kept your sanity! hehehSatuSuro 14:02, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
I really didn't delete the content, I just hid them. You see, there was a message in the talk page that kinda implied the page was becoming cluttered so I just responded to it. -23prootie 14:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
"I can only think of 3 songs where the harmonica is used. One of those songs hasn’t been played for almost 20 years, one was recently resurrected and then put back out to pasture (Running to Stand Still) and Desire" and "both Adam and Larry play keyboards on one song on the last tour" were quotes from you on the U2 discussion page
I am highly intregued... I cannot find the third song that you referenced as having Bono play harmonice on and not having been played for over twenty years, nor can I find out which song you discuss as having both Larry and Adam play keyboard on during the last tour (presumably the Vertigo Tour)... Could you divulge some info? Jgrizzy89 04:48, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Merbabu, sorry I went out and left a lot of conversation in my talk page with you and SatuSuro. I have read them all. Thank you for handling the borobudur page. I've read the review in a brief. I'll make some editing tonight (well you're already in bed by now). I'll let you know the changes. — Indon (reply) — 17:46, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
And what is so wrong with adding the country names??? It's ok for sydney to have the country name next to it…but not for other cities, huh?
But if it so wrong, then I give up.
Regards RaptorRobot 10:37, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Okay then!!! :) Other than all the "issues" i've had with editing pages, what do you think of my editing!?!
RaptorRobot 10:50, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Umm.. I'm not sure if I could get what you mean. Infobox in U2 is similar with in Mount Tambora. So I don't know what kind of text boxes you referred. — Indon (reply) — 15:58, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
118 citations!!! Wow, you're crazy. I think it should pass FA now, and I like the quote boxes. :-) — Indon (reply) — 08:35, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Wow, trying to come back from the dead now :)
First of all, great job on those articles about Indonesia! (Although, I must say, it is so much easier to improve an article when there isn't a bunch of people adding nonsense all the time...)
I was going to say that I was against the text boxes idea, but I see you just added them, and it does not look too bad... maybe remove a couple so the article doesn't look too cluttered...
About the rewriting of several sections - looks great! I suppose the right way to go would be to add as much info as we can and then nominate he article again for Featured Status - so if people complain there's unnecessary text we'd just remove it - that would be much easier than having to add it all over again...
About the sound samples, I'll try to work on that this week. I suppose "The Unforgettable Fire" and "The Fly" would be the best choices - both were singles and showcase the particular "sounds" of their respective eras.
One last thing - I finally got U2 by U2! Great book, defnitely the ultimate source for U2 information... I'm afraid I won't have much time, at least for now, to search and add references to the articles, but I'll try to do that as soon as I can! --
