A brief introduction

Welcome to my userpage. I'm User:ChamithN and I started editing Wikipedia in 2014. I mainly edit articles related to computer science and entertainment; however, I'd be glad to help if someone needs my assistance for articles outside of my comfort zone. I tend to make a lot of typos over the course of editing. So, if you come across any (even in my talk page comments), feel free to revert/fix them, and/or ask me for clarification. I believe in WP:BRD cycle; ergo, I'm always up for civil and meaningful discussions. If you have any questions regarding editing Wikipedia, feel free to ask at the Teahouse or my talk page.

Toys for Bob, Inc. is an American video game developer based in Novato, California, and founded in 1989. The founders, Paul Reiche III and Fred Ford (both pictured), met when Reiche sought a programmer to develop Star Control, and developed several games, including The Horde, Pandemonium!, and The Unholy War. In the early 2000s, the studio transitioned to working on licensed games before being laid off by Crystal Dynamics. It was incorporated in 2002 and Activision became their publisher before they acquired the studio in 2005. Credited with inventing the toys-to-life genre, the 2011 release of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure was considered a technological and commercial breakthrough. In 2018, Toys for Bob assisted with the remaster compilations Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The founders left the company in 2020. Microsoft acquired the holding in October 2023 and the studio spun off from Activision in May 2024. (Full article...)

Palm warbler
The palm warbler (Setophaga palmarum) is a small songbird in the New World warbler family, Parulidae. It breeds in the United States, Canada and Saint Pierre and Miquelon, and is also found in non-breeding populations throughout eastern North America, Central America and the Caribbean, as far south as Panama. Its habitat includes shrublands, forests, grasslands, wetlands, and human-modified environments. The species comprises two subspecies, which differ in plumage and migration patterns. The palm warbler mainly eats insects and berries and forages on the ground. Its tail bobbing is an identifying characteristic, and its song is a monotonous buzzy trill. This palm warbler of the subspecies S. p. hypochrysea, in breeding plumage, was photographed in Green-Wood Cemetery, New York City, United States.Photograph credit: Rhododendrites
