Late last year, a new non-NARA Presidential library opened up - the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington. This is, similarly to several other non-NARA libraries, a privately-funded library, but (also similarly to other non-NARA libraries) is located in the vicinity of the national park most closely related to the President (in this case Mount Vernon). The template is incomplete without the addition of this library. My proposed edit is as follows:

Hi. The NARA/Non-NARA distinction was added to this template in this edit in September 2010. Is there value in making this distinction? Do we explain what it is somewhere? --MZMcBride (talk) 21:59, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Obama's presidential library and museum will not be part of the NARA system: Chicago Tribune
Can we please remove references on the Trump library? Just because there is none doesn't mean there will be one. This article also explains why it seems unlikely. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/01/22/trump-presidential-library-plans-461383 99.74.177.187 (talk) 03:59, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
