Coral being killed by the Barracuda would be included in the cast among other information about the characters. Is this possible? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4980:90:B19D:744E:2BCC:D341 (talk) 21:23, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
I believe there is one small mistake in the plot's current revision: Marlin should be mentioned first, because he is actually the film's main protagonist, not Nemo (although the latter's name is in the title) and he appears first as well.--Sstanford2 (talk) 18:42, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

The place name noted as "Sydney Harbor" should be corrected to "Sydney Harbour" given it is an Australian place name (proper noun) and not an American place name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blurbmaust (talk • contribs) 14:32, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
Wasn’t there a lawsuit about the film allegedly ripping off a French children’s book?
“In 2003, French author Franck Le Calvez filed suit against Pixar and its distribution company Walt Disney Pictures, claiming that the story and the characters from his book, “Pierrot the Clownfish”, were plagiarized in the film Finding Nemo. The author and his lawyer, Pascal Kamina, demanded from Disney a share of the profits from merchandising articles sold in France. Le Calvez and Kamina lost the lawsuit on March 12, 2004 and intended to file an appeal on October 5, 2004;[2] however, to date there has been no further action taken against Pixar on the matter. On April 15th 2021, The Film Theorists made a YouTube video believing that it was actually Le Calvez who had copied Disney.”

I’ve found online on this article https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/red-carpet-flashback-finding-nemo-133017734.html that finding Nemo seemed to premiere at the El Capitan Theatre on May 17, 2003. So can I edit the article to show that on the top of the page and release part of the page below please? DrkWebber (talk) 20:55, 26 November 2022 (UTC)

To include Finding Nemo (soundtrack) in the music section 223.178.83.187 (talk) 13:28, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I've been looking into the environmental consequences of Finding Nemo and haven't found any hard evidence that there was actually an increase in the amount of wild fish taken for aquariums after the film's release. Meanwhile, there is at least one peer-reviewed scientific article which questions the supposed environmental damage. The references supporting the idea that the film was harmful to ocean life are all very old and anecdotal, quoting organizations that are obscure and some no longer exist.
I have already added the reference to the peer-reviewed journal for balance, but I'd argue that the section needs a complete clean up to reflect that this was more likely a moral panic than anything based on reality, unless someone can find better evidence to the contrary, in which case posting that evidence as references would make the section much more credible. Looks like Nemo's deformity is in his pectoral fin and not pelvic fin as article states. 2601:4C0:4180:1830:C05A:5177:F72C:6BAF (talk) 22:35, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
I feel like this article needs a themes section. Finding Nemo is one of the most popular Pixar movies of all time. And there are themes in the film. It's a film about letting go of your past trauma. Marlin learns to let go of his past trauma thanks to Dory and Nemo. Nemo also learns determination from the tank fish.
Here are some sources to prove that there are themes in the film.

Change the word "aghast" to "impressed." This is not a correct usage of the word "aghast." Diego Tutweiller (talk) 22:36, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
Finding Nemo teaser was Actually Attached to the Monsters Inc. home media releases back in September 2002, Not in Theatres Lilo & Sitich Back in June 2002. Also I Think the Third trailer for Finding Nemo was Attached to The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Back In December 2002, Not The Jungle Book 2 Back In February 2003.
