Hello Wikipedia. i am a curious individual with a history of the surname Feulner. I have genealogy reports and am curious to contact Edwin if possible. Feulner is not a well used name in the U.S. for known reasons to some; unknown to those who should remain clueless.

I'm not deleting the above because the nice thing is to respond. So: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. The people who edit and add to articles are required to use verifiable sources such as newspaper stories. They don't know Ed Feulner personally; they don't have any personal knowledge of his email address or phone number; and wikipedia isn't intended (nor should it be used) to help people contact the subject of a wikipedia article. I'd like to make some requests to update and improve this article, starting with sections relating to Dr. Feulner's career. I work for The Heritage Foundation, so I have a conflict of interest in editing this article about its president and I'd prefer if other editors could look over my suggestions and make them if they are appropriate.

The section named "Heritage Foundation" at the moment contains information that relates to other professional and voluntary roles that Feulner has held. Also, most of the information is currently unsourced. I have found some new sources to add to this section and I'd also like to suggest adding a new section heading, "Other roles". ==Heritage Foundation==

Feulner was a Founding Trustee of the Heritage Foundation from 1973 until 1977, when he left Crane's employ to run Heritage full-time as its president.^[1] At the time, Heritage had had nine employees and four presidents in four years. Feulner brought a new focus to marketing Heritage's ideas by issuing and promoting policy papers. The practice was unusual for Washington think tanks in the 1970s, and it brought national attention to Heritage. As Feulner related to The Washington Examiner, "It doesn't do us any good to have great ideas if we are not out there peddling our products."^[2]

==Other roles==

He is the former President and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Mont Pelerin Society;^[3] he has served as Trustee and former Chairman of the Board of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute; Member of the Board of the National Chamber Foundation;^[4] a Board Member of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques; and member of the Board of Visitors of Regis, his undergraduate alma mater.

Among other executive and advisory roles, Feulner is the former President of The Philadelphia Society, and past Director of the Sequoia Bank, the Council for National Policy, the Acton Institute and the American Council on Germany.^[5]

Feulner served as a member of the Gingrich-Mitchell Congressional U.N. Reform Task Force (2005), Meltzer Commission from 1999–2000. He was the Vice Chairman of the National Commission on Economic Growth and Tax Reform, known as the Kemp Commission, from 1995–1996. He also was Chairman of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy (1982–1991), a consultant for domestic policy to President Reagan, and an adviser to several government departments and agencies.^[5]

This article reads more like promotional material than an objective biography. For instance: "Awards and distinctions[edit] Feulner is a leader - a role that is undisputed and has been internationally recognized."

Maybe now that the article's subject is deceased, there can be more objectivity and balance added. I'm certainly no expert on the subject, however glancing through, it appears to be a glowing endorsement of his policies with zero criticism.
