Image:Logo ESTsoft.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:39, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi all,
This article currently carries two maintenance tags: {{Refimprove}} (since June 2019) and {{Advert}} (added April 2026). I would like to propose a structured set of revisions to address both, and to invite feedback from uninvolved editors before making any substantive edits to the article body.
COI disclosure: As stated on my user page, I am employed by ESTsoft. Per WP:COI, I am proposing these changes here first rather than editing the article directly.
After reviewing the article against WP:NPOV, WP:PROMO, WP:RS, and WP:EL, I identified four categories of concern:
The following phrases, which I believe fail WP:NPOV and WP:PROMO, should be rephrased:
| Current text | Proposed revision | Rationale |
|---|---|---|
| "shifted its strategic focus toward artificial intelligence (AI) technologies" | "released artificial intelligence (AI) products including..." | Removes narrative framing, states fact |
| "selected as a national representative elite team for the 'AI Foundation Model' project" | "selected to participate in the 'AI Foundation Model' project" | Removes superlative framing |
| "secured the first-place ranking in the initial phase of evaluation" | "received the highest score in the initial evaluation" | Neutralizes competitive language |
| "collaborated with Samsung Electronics to unveil the 'AI Promoter'" | "exhibited the AI Promoter with Samsung Electronics at CES 2026" | Removes promotional verb "unveil" |
| "Advancing from its initial launch, the company demonstrated the technology's practical applications across the mobility, retail, and telecommunications sectors." | "The company exhibited Perso Interactive across five zones focused on mobility, retail media, customer experience, information, and developer ecosystem applications." | Removes narrative of progress; states facts |
| "AI-powered content platform comprising three services" | "group of three products" | Removes marketing phrasing |
| "enables users to generate AI avatar-based video content without a camera or recording equipment. The service allows for the creation of digital presenters for use in marketing, education, and corporate communications" | "generates AI-based avatar video from text input" | Condenses to functional description |
| "enables businesses to deploy conversational AI representatives on websites and digital platforms" | "provides conversational AI agents that can be embedded in websites" | Neutral functional description |
Current: five external links:
Proposed: reduce to the official homepage only, which is the norm per WP:ELMINOFFICIAL:
The per-product links (Perso AI, Alan, ALTools) are marketing pages and do not meet WP:ELNO criterion of adding information not already in the article. The archived link can be retained if the community prefers.
Two citations currently reference ESTsoft's own website as primary sources for factual claims (refs #15, #17 — both point to estsoft.ai product pages). These will be replaced with independent coverage where possible, or removed as redundant to other cited sources.
I would also like to note that refs #9, #10, #11 originate from PR Newswire distribution through AP News and Morningstar. These are not independent reporting. I propose keeping them only where no better source exists, and noting them transparently.
I would like to add three independent sources that are currently missing from the article:
These three sources are strictly independent of ESTsoft and should meaningfully strengthen verifiability (WP:V) and help resolve the {{Refimprove}} concern.
If the above is broadly acceptable:
Feedback, objections, or alternative proposals are very welcome.
Thanks, Untae (talk) 02:19, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
Per the consensus reached on 2026-04-27, I have neutralized three statements in the History section flagged under WP:PROMO. Sources retained, only phrasing changed. K-EXAONE and Perso AI sections will follow in separate edits over the coming days. Diff: [link to be added after publish — see Special:Diff]. Untae (talk) 01:20, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
Per the consensus reached on 2026-04-27, I have neutralized two statements in the Government project (K-EXAONE) section flagged under WP:PROMO. Sources retained, only phrasing changed. The Perso AI section will follow as a separate edit. Untae (talk) 01:16, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
Per the consensus reached on 2026-04-27, I have neutralized three statements in the Products > Perso AI subsections (Perso AI main, Studio Perso, AI Live Chat) flagged under WP:PROMO. Sources retained, only phrasing changed. This completes Phase 2 (body neutralization) of the consensus rollout. Phase 3 (independent source additions — EMNLP 2025 paper, CNA documentary, ITU AI for Good report) will begin from 5/11 per the original proposed schedule. Untae (talk) 01:34, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
Per the consensus reached on 2026-04-27, I have added the EMNLP 2025 System Demonstrations paper (Won et al., 2025; Proceedings of EMNLP 2025: System Demonstrations, pp. 515–521) as an independent academic source in the Perso AI Dubbing subsection, as proposed in change #4. This is the first of three independent secondary sources scheduled for Phase 3. The CNA documentary and ITU AI for Good report citations will follow as separate edits on 5/12 and 5/13 respectively. Untae (talk) 04:22, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
Per the 2026-04-27 consensus (Proposed change #4), I have added a citation to Channel News Asia's "Becoming Human" documentary series (2024) as international broadcast coverage. The citation supports two factual claims: (1) ESTsoft's virtual avatar solutions in the History section, and (2) Studio Perso's avatar video creation service. This is the second of three independent-source additions planned for Phase 3 (EMNLP paper added 5/11, ITU AI for Good report scheduled 5/13). Untae (talk) 02:16, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Per the consensus reached on 2026-04-27, I have added the International Telecommunication Union "AI for Good" Impact Report 2025 as an independent institutional source supporting the Perso Interactive claim in the History section, as proposed in change #4. This completes Phase 3 of the consensus rollout — all three independent secondary sources (EMNLP 2025 paper, CNA documentary, ITU report) are now in place. Per the original schedule, no further substantive edits are planned during the stabilization period (5/14–5/17). If no objections are raised, I will open a separate Talk page thread on 5/18 to request removal of the {{Refimprove}} and {{Advert}} maintenance tags, per the process outlined in my 2026-04-27 proposal. Untae (talk) 10:48, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi all,
Following the consensus reached on 2026-04-27 and the editing process documented in the threads above, I would like to request that uninvolved editors review the article and consider removal of the two maintenance tags currently in place: {{Refimprove}} (since June 2019) and {{Advert}} (added April 2026).
Per the 2026-04-27 proposal (Proposed changes #1–#4), the following has been completed:
The article has been stable for 7 days since the last edit on 2026-05-13. No reverts, objections, or further comments have been raised on this Talk page during that period.
Per my 2026-04-27 proposal (Process I will follow, item 3), I am not removing the tags myself. I am asking uninvolved editors to:
Thank you for your time and consideration.
