_ _ For the record, i created this out of a junk joke stub that was invalidly speedied. Surely the title should be at least a rdr, and a section for the rdr to target hopefully already exists; i didn't want to hunt it down or write more than a stub, and needed to provide a reasonable disposition of the speedy -- which just removing the tag, or AfD'g it, would not be. Yes, i agree, in most circumstances anyone writing such a stub should be embarrassed. I'm not in these circumstances.

Calls for some solid state physicist willing to go into depth here about how bits are splunged into and splorked out of media; types of media; and the difference between the math and physics. This qualifies for entrance in a contest for lamest stub, but maybe a brain will take pity on it? Otherwise forget it - just redirect to Boolean datatype. --Metarhyme 02:36, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
