Raphitoma radula is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae.^[1]

Description

The length of the shell varies between 12 mm and 19 mm, its diameter between 4 mm and 8 mm.

The shell of Raphitoma radula is typically small to medium-sized, with a slender and elongated shape. It has a pointed apex and a sculptured surface with distinctive spiral grooves or ridges. The coloration and pattern on the shell can vary, often featuring a combination of different shades or markings.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Central Mediterranean Sea off Palermo, Sicily; off France, Croatia and Algeria.
