Luke Richardson (born 20 June 1997) is a British professional strongman and powerlifter. He was Europe's Strongest Man in 2020, becoming the youngest winner in the history of that contest.[3] He has also competed twice at the World's Strongest Man competition, coming in 9th in 2020. He withdrew from the 2021 competition due to a distal biceps tendon rupture that occurred during the Loading Medley race in his qualifying heat. [4] In 2023, Richardson won the 2023 Giants Live England’s Strongest Man Championship. [5] In powerlifting, Richardson was the 2018 Junior 120kg+ Champion. [6]
After a series of injury setbacks, Richardson recorded two Giants Live podium finishes in 2024 at the World Open and World Tour Finals.
In April 2025, Richardson won Europe's Strongest Man for the second time. He ended the competition with 51 points from the five events, 3.5 clear of fellow Englishman Paddy Haynes in second.[7]
