This is the list of mobile phone brands sorted by the country from which the brands originate. The number of mobile phone brands peaked to more than 750 in 2017 before declining to nearly 250 brands in 2023.[1] Bold refers to major smartphone brand.[2][3]
Sub-brand of Vietnam Telecommunications and Electronic Cables Joint Stock Company (VINACAP) - a subsidiary of VNPT. The brand was launched for the low-end market and targeted to users of Vinaphone's services. The brand ceased operation in c. 2016 due to poor sales.

On January 7, 2013, Sony Mobile completed moving its headquarters from Lund, Sweden to Tokyo, Japan in order to fully integrate with its parent company.
