• Meykhana – literary and folk rap tradition, consisting of an unaccompanied song performed by one or more people improvising on a particular subject.^[3][4]
• Mugham – folk musical composition from Azerbaijan.^[5]

Musical Instruments

• Balaban – a cylindrical-bore, double-reed wind instrument.^[6]
• Nagara (drum) – folk drum with double head that is played on one side with the bare hands.
• Tar – Mirza Sadig (1870).^[7]

Language and literature

Foods

• Dushbara – a sort of dumplings of dough filled with ground meat and flavor.^[8]
• Qutab – a thinly rolled dough that may be cooked briefly on a convex griddle.^[9][10][11]
• Shekarbura – Azerbaijani dessert. There are still several of deserts and popular foods of Azerbaijan.^{[citation needed]}
• Azerbaijani pakhlava – an Azerbaijani variant of Baklava.

Sports

• Sur-papakh – traditional equestrian sport.
