Khezerlu Rural District (Persian: دهستان خضرلو)^[3] is in the Central District of Ajab Shir County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.^[4] Its capital is the village of Khezerlu.^[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,435 in 2,033 households.^[6] There were 7,830 inhabitants in 2,347 households at the following census of 2011.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 7,491 in 2,395 households. The most populous of its seven villages was Khezerlu, with 3,505 people.^[2]
