Pawan Aggarwal is an Indian politician and hotelier from Ambala, Haryana. He is associated with the Indian National Congress and has served as president of the Ambala District Congress Committee (Urban).
Political Career
Aggarwal was elected from Ward 6 in the 2013 Ambala Municipal Corporation election as a Congress-supported candidate.[1]
In 2020, his wife, Meena Aggarwal, was selected as the Indian National Congress candidate for mayor of the Ambala Municipal Corporation.[2]
In 2024, Aggarwal was among the Congress leaders who sought the party's ticket to contest the Haryana Assembly election from Ambala City.[3]
In 2025, he was appointed president of the Ambala District Congress Committee (Urban).[4]
Political activities
As president of the Ambala District Congress Committee (Urban), Aggarwal has been quoted by local and regional news organisations on Congress activities in Ambala. In 2026, he was quoted in coverage of the Congress campaign for the Ambala Municipal Corporation election.[5][6]
Business career
Aggarwal is a hotelier in Ambala. In 2015, The Times of India identified him as a hotelier from Ambala and a member of the executive committee of the North India Hotel and Restaurant Association.[7]
