María Concepción Mendívil Feito (born 3 March 1981 in Helsinki, Finland[1]), known professionally as Conchita, is a Spanish singer and songwriter.
In addition to her solo musical career, in January 2016 he announced on Facebook the upcoming release of the first video Deux oiseaux of the group he has formed with Pablo Cebrián, Chansons d'hiver, and whose repertoire are songs in French composed and produced by themselves. Their first EP was released on March 22, 2016 in digital format.
Ammette di essere appassionato di musica, con un gusto eclettico (cita Carlos Chaouen, Jorge Drexler, Tontxu, Antonio Vega, Los Piratas, Quique González, Corinne Bailey Rae e classici della musica francese come Édith Piaf come suoi principali riferimenti). He recalls that since he was 5 or 6 years old he used to make songs and record them on a plastic Cassette tape, and later with a toy electronic piano, a hobby that increased since he got his first guitar at the age of fifteen and started playing and practicing with it.
In addition to playing guitar and piano, he plays drums,[2] accompanying live bands such as Tom's Cabin[3] or Luis Ramiro on their 2016 tour.
Conchita actively participates in the whole process of creation of her albums and everything that surrounds it (art, videos...). She also gets involved in solidarity causes, such as her collaboration for the institution of the Hospitalized Children's Day with the song Un beso redondo, released as a single in 2015 and included in her album .
