The 2025 Ontario Women's Curling Championship, was held from January 20 to 26 at Cobourg Community Centre in Cobourg, Ontario. It serves as the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario. The winning Danielle Inglis rink will represent Ontario at the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship in Thunder Bay, Ontario.[1] The event was held in conjunction with the 2025 Ontario Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship. Both events are held together in non-Olympic years.
Cobourg was chosen as the host community in June 2024. It last hosted the Ontario Championship in 2017.[2]
Twelve teams qualified for the 2025 Ontario Women's Championship. The top eight southern Ontario teams on the Canada Team Ranking System (CTRS) as of December 16, 2024 qualified, as well as four teams from an open qualifier.[3] The number one ranked team in Canada according to the CTRS, Rachel Homan, will be Team Canada at the national Scotties after their win at the national Scotties last year, bypassing the provincial championship.
